#Places to visit near Bangkok
This evening at Wat Khao Din, a temple built on a mountain ⛰️, the only one in Chachoengsao
Wat Khao Din is located on a small mountain surrounded by nature 🌳, the only unique place in Chachoengsao Province
This place was the location of King Taksin's camp when he invaded Chanthaburi. It is very quiet and shady.
Inside the temple, there is a Phra Maha Chedi Chalermprakiat 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary and the largest replica of Luang Pho Sothon in the world for Buddhists to worship for good luck.
This is another very beautiful temple in Chachoengsao.
Easy to get to, right on the motorway.

Khao Din Temple, Chachoengsao
A beautiful temple on a hill in Chachoengsao Province. The highlight of the temple is the large Buddha statue and the large pagoda on the top of the hill. For the elderly, pregnant women, and children, the temple provides an elevator. The air is well-ventilated upstairs, but there is also a cave to explore.
History tells that
In the past, it was an island in the middle of a river with a cave under the water. When making merit, people would bring baskets tied with ropes and lower them into the cave. They would get plates and bowls for the villagers to use for making merit. After finishing, they would put them back in the baskets. Later, the cave was closed because it was not fully returned.
