Historic buildings
Jieyao Temple, also known as Zeyu Temple, was built in 1455. Bodhi trees from India were planted in the temple. In 1477, more than 100 Buddhist monks held the World Buddhist Conference here. There are seven minarets in the temple, so it is also called "Seven Spinning Tower". The Seven Spinning Pagoda Jieyao Temple is imitated in the style of the Mahabodhi Temple of the Indian Buddha Gaya. The seven minarets represent the seven weeks the Buddha spent in Bodhiya after his epiphany. The temple with a quiet environment The whole temple is surrounded by neatly manicured and beautiful grass, and the quiet environment is full of a transcendent atmosphere of a Buddhist holy place. This is a leisurely and beautiful monastery worth visiting. Here, there are many young monks copying the remaining Buddha statues on the side walls of the ancient pagoda. Even if only incomplete traces are left, the artistic beauty of these Buddha statues can be glimpsed. It may not be as majestic as Chedilong Temple or as beautiful as Songde Temple, but it also has another charm.
