Incha Chin Temple is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand and is a temple with a long history. There are many small Buddha statues in front of the temple, which are very cute. When night falls, the temple is brightly lit and resplendent, very charming. Here, people can learn more about the Buddhist culture of Thailand.

Wat Inthakhil Sadue Muang, pay homage to Luang Pho Khao
Wat Inthakhin Sadue Mueang is an old and very important temple for Chiang Mai people. This temple was originally the royal palace, which was the place of worship for the king and the locals at that time. Wat Inthakhin Sadue Mueang was originally an abandoned temple and used to be the place of worship for the Inthakhin pillar, the main pillar of Chiang Mai province. The word Inthakhin means the dam pillar or the pillar behind the city. As for the word Sadue Mueang, since the temple is located in the heart of Chiang Mai city, the locals call it Wat Sadue Mueang, so it is called Wat Inthakhin Sadue Mueang. Inside the temple, there is a Buddha statue, Luang Pho Khao, which is a Lanna-style Buddha statue, enshrined in a Lanna-style chapel built entirely of wood. If anyone comes to pay homage to Luang Pho Khao, they will be successful and have all their wishes come true. Behind the chapel is a bell-shaped pagoda with a square base. The upper part is a large, tall, round base supporting the bell. Next to it is a throne and an umbrella. Walk a little further and you will find the main pillar of the city for worship and asking for blessings. In front of the chapel, there is Luang Phi Ngern for worship and asking for blessings. And there is also an art and culture hall. It's a pleasant walk. Wat Inthakhin Sadue Mueang is located in Si Phum Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. It's easy to notice, we will see a beautiful wooden temple built out on the road, next to the Three Kings Monument. You can park inside. And next to the temple, there are many famous restaurants to stop by and try. #VisitChiangMai #BeautifulTemplesChiangMai #MakeMeritAndWorship #OldTemplesChiangMai #BeautifulPhotoSpotsChiangMai #ThaiTemple #OldTemple

Wat Inthakhin Sadue Muang in Thailand
Wat Inthakhin Sadue Muang (late 13th century). This style of Vihara (assembly hall) is a beautiful example of Lanna temple architecture. Dark teak coated in an almost black lacquer and guilt decoration.
It's clear in every corner and in every smiling face all around. It's really appreciating the beauty of nature and renewing energy at local temples, and being grateful for everything. In this temple, for example, there is a tree full of golden hearts, where everyone makes their prayer and leaves it on the tree to be blessed!
Chiang Mai is so much quieter than Bangkok. It has a very chilled vibe. Lots of temples to see but many look the same. It's nice to have a wander around and pick up the odd iced coffee to cool down.

Luang Pho Khao, the legend of the creation of Chiang Mai
Phra Chao Aun Mueang Shrine (Luang Pho Khao) According to records, Wat Inthakhil is the place where King Mangrai was struck by lightning and died. As for Phra Chao Aun Mueang Shrine, it was probably built over the original foundation at the same time as the outer chedi covering the inner chedi around 2380 B.E. during the reign of King Kawila. It is a hall-shaped shrine with the original rectangular layout, with Luang Pho Khao enshrined as the principal Buddha image facing east.
At present, the Inthakhil pillar has been invited to be enshrined at Wat Chedi Luang, and Chiang Mai has organized the annual Khan Dok offering tradition, which is another event that attracts the attention of both Thai and foreign tourists.

Wat Sadeu Muang: A Hidden Gem in Chiang Mai
#thailandtrip #chiangmai
Wat Sadeu Muang, a small but charming wooden temple nestled in the heart of Chiang Mai, holds historical and cultural significance. Its name, meaning "Temple of the City Navel," reflects its location near the city's ancient center, symbolizing its role in Chiang Mai's early days. Despite its modest size, the temple captivates visitors with its golden Guanyin statue, radiating serenity and grace, and its vibrant display of multicolored lanterns, a nod to Northern Thailand's festive traditions. Adding a whimsical touch, the courtyard is adorned with stone statues of little monks, each with a unique expression that brings joy to all who visit. This tranquil sanctuary offers a delightful blend of history, artistry, and spirituality, making it a memorable stop for anyone exploring the city.
