The Architecture design is quite exquisite, lines with the Aesthetic of the grand palace. When we went there, not much people is around so you can take good quality pics with the temple as your background. Thailand is known for its temples, but I wasn’t expecting each one to be so different. Bangkok is home to some of the more famous landmarks, Wat Benchamabopit is one of those quieter less explored temples but completely worth a visit. Also known as The Marble Temple, we visited around 11am and it was pretty quiet still. Plenty of opportunity to take in the stunning sights of these white temple buildings. There is something so beautiful about this country, the food, it’s friendly people, nice beaches, beautiful temples and the list continues. For me it is one of the countries in Asia where they are very well used to tourism, so as a traveler you can have a good experience when a destination knows how to treat you. There is a plaque inscribed with the history of the bridge, which says: “This bridge was built with money from the purchase of gold-patterned teacups for the royal cremation ceremony, which King Chulalongkorn graciously granted to be sold at a stall at the temple in R.S. 119. He donated the money from the teacups to this bridge, so he named it Thua Bridge. Would say it's quite inclusive because there are ramps for those who may come in on wheelchairs too. Really beautiful temple, and the scorching sun further enhances the brightness of the white temple. Marble flooring is beautiful, and there is a giant Buddha in one of the rooms with really intricate stained glass windows. The marble flooring gets EXCEPTIONALLY hot when you're taking photos outside in the sun barefooted. So, do be careful because I scalded the soles of my feet for a 20-second photo session. 🥲 Otherwise, you can marvel the architecture from afar!
