Pha Daeng Luang or Pha Daeng Luang Viewpoint is located in Mae Ping National Park, Li District, Lamphun Province. It is a steep cliff next to the Ping River, which meanders through the valley. It is so beautiful that it has been nicknamed the Switzerland of Thailand because of the image of the sun rising behind the mountains with the soft sunlight reflecting on the water surface. a large pool as shown in the picture
The color of the pool will change according to the season
Like this trip, it was in the winter
at the end of January, the beginning of last year
Although the amount of water is less than the rainy season
But the water is clear and has a beautiful emerald blue color
Travel ......
Start from the city of Li District, pin the GPS waterfall
and drive according to the map for about 48 km
Then you have to walk for about 500 meters
The route is quite good, clear, some parts are stairs
For the elderly, it may be a bit difficult

It's another movie that I really like. So I had the opportunity to visit and donate things to the children here. It's one of the schools surrounded by mountains and the Ping River, which is very beautiful. Currently, there are only 6 students. As for traveling, you have to use a boat only. The view along the way is very beautiful. #Where to travel

Tad Sa Do Waterfall, Mae Ping National Park
Review of Tad Sa Do Waterfall, Mae Ping National Park, Lamphun Province
Tad Sa Do Waterfall is one of the stunning and unique natural attractions within Mae Ping National Park, located in Li District, Lamphun Province. This medium-sized limestone waterfall is characterized by its golden sedimentary rock layers naturally covering the cliff walls. Crystal-clear water cascades down from a height of approximately 15 meters into a lower emerald-green pool, reflecting sunlight beautifully.
In addition to its scenic beauty, Tad Sa Do Waterfall is easily accessible, situated only about 300 meters from the parking area. It is also close to Ko Luang Waterfall, making it convenient to plan visits to both locations in a single day. The walking trail to the waterfall is shaded and surrounded by natural vegetation, with basic facilities such as camping areas and rest spots available for visitors.
Tad Sa Do Waterfall is ideal for travelers seeking a close connection with nature, whether through short hikes, nature photography, or family relaxation in a peaceful and pristine environment. It is a must-visit destination when exploring northern Thailand.

Koh Luang Waterfall: The Miracle of Emerald Green Limestone Waterfall in the Heart of Nature
If you are looking for a place to visit that is not only beautiful but also full of natural charm, Koh Luang Waterfall in Mae Ping National Park, Lamphun Province is a destination you should not miss! This waterfall is hidden amidst the lush green forest. It is beautiful and unique and hard to find anywhere else.
The path to the waterfall is not too difficult, but quite challenging. You will experience the lush natural forest, as if you have escaped from the modern world to a land full of peace. Just walk a few hundred meters and you will be greeted by Koh Luang Waterfall, which flows from a steep limestone mountaintop.
The highlight that makes Koh Luang different from other waterfalls is the limestone waterfall that cascades down from a 20-meter-high layer of rocks. The water flowing down from the limestone layer is clear emerald green, and you can see the river bottom with strong rocks arranged in order. It is beautiful and amazing. Koh Luang Waterfall is not just a tourist attraction, but a wonder created by nature.
After a tiring walk, you can sit under the shade of a large tree or soak your feet in the cool, clear water, listening to the sound of the waterfall and the refreshing scent of nature. Ko Luang Waterfall is a place that provides a complete relaxation and makes you feel deeply connected to nature.
Ko Luang Waterfall is open for visits between October and June of each year. The best time to visit is from December to February when the weather is cool and the waterfall is at its most beautiful.
Be prepared for trekking and wear sturdy sneakers because the path can be slippery when wet.
Don't forget to bring drinking water and snacks because there are no large restaurants near the waterfall and most importantly, don't leave your trash in nature because we should keep it clean for the next generation.
Ko Luang Waterfall is a place that provides both visual beauty and peace of mind. If you love adventure and experiencing perfect nature, this is another place you shouldn't miss. I highly recommend it.

Long-distance trekking at Pha Daeng Luang
Pha Daeng Luang, Mae Ping National Park
⛺️🥾🌳 is a long-distance hiking trail at Pha Daeng Luang. It takes 2 days and 1 night, with a round trip distance of 30 km to watch the sunrise at Pha Daeng Luang, at an altitude of 1,000 meters, overlooking the Ping River and beautiful mountain ranges that are second to none.
🥾👣🌿The starting point of the journey is at the Tung Kik National Park Office. You can divide your belongings that you will not bring up here without having to carry them yourself. The weight is calculated at 60 baht/kg round trip. Then we will take a pickup truck to the starting point.
🧗🏻♀️🏔️🛤️We will walk through the stream along the canal. There are small waterfalls. Some places are suitable for swimming. Along the way, we will pass through a clear stream that turns blue all the way. The journey is flat and not steep. It takes about 2-3 hours to walk for about 5 kilometers to reach the lunch stop at Tham Yang Wi Protection Unit. Here, there will be simple food and drinks for sale. There is also a small waterfall nearby.
🏕️👨🏽🦯➡️🌿After lunch, we walked for about 8 km to the tent site. At first, we passed a stream and then we walked up a long hill through Kiew Lom Hill and Pine Hill to the tent site. There is a simple food shop in the park. There is a bathroom but showering is not allowed.
🌞⛰️🌿From the tent site to Pha Luang, about 2 km, the road is quite steep. There are stairs to walk on at the beginning. You can walk up to watch both the sunset and the sunrise, which are beautiful at different times.
🛤️👨🏽🦯➡️👣On the way back, we will walk along the gravel road instead of wading through the water like we came. We will stop for lunch at Tham Yang Wi Ranger Unit and walk back to the starting point. Take a pickup truck back to Thung Kik.

Lamphun tourist attractions: Wat Phra Phutthabat Pha Nam
Recommended places to visit in Lamphun: Wat Phra Phutthabat Pha Nam
Sometimes you will see a sea of fog. The sea of fog is not every day even if you go during the winter. For example, we went during the winter before 6 am, but we did not see the sea of fog. However, the view is just as beautiful. If you drive early in the morning, do not park at the shrine. Drive all the way up to the end, where you will see a sign for a car park. However, you will have to walk up several steps. Some steps are quite steep. It is recommended to wear sneakers and be careful while walking. There are also peacocks to welcome you. They are very beautiful.

Heaven on Earth, Koh Luang Waterfall
Ko Luang Waterfall 🏞>> It is a very beautiful waterfall. The water is clear and you can see the fish. It is easy to get to, not difficult. I recommend going early in the morning. There will not be many people. You can take beautiful pictures. It is not far from the parking lot, less than 1 kilometer. Swimming is not allowed, but there is a lower point where you can swim. If you have difficulty walking, I recommend wearing sneakers because the path is made of stones.
💸 No entrance fee, just the park entrance fee.
❌️ Teenagers can walk, but I do not recommend it for the elderly.

Mae Ping National Park, come to see the sunrise here, it's really overflowing with happiness. I had the opportunity to visit last winter, the atmosphere is great, the view is beautiful, unforgettable. The atmosphere in winter is cool and comfortable. To travel, you have to travel to Li District, Lamphun Province. There are bungalows and tents in the park.
☀️In the morning, I went to see the sunrise at the cliff at around 3 am. You have to take a 4WD for about 1 hour and walk for a while, about 2 kilometers. You can book accommodation and tours at the park office. You have to book in advance. In addition to the Pha Daeng viewpoint, there is also Ko Luang Waterfall, which has beautiful green water. You have to come here. It's very unseen in Thailand.

Mahathat Chedi Sri Wiang Chai
Phra Maha That Chedi Si Wiang Chai, Lamphun Province
🙏Maha That Chedi Si Wiang Chai stands out with its golden Phra Maha That Chedi, standing out so majestically that it can be seen from afar at the entrance. It is shaped like a replica of Shwedagon. It is considered a Buddhist architecture in the Lanna art style, built with laterite. The base is as wide as 1 rai and is 64.39 meters high. It is a Buddhist chedi of 5 Buddhas, which will be the first Buddhist chedi of the Bhadrakalpa for Thai descendants to pay homage in Thailand and the second in the world.
🪴 Luang Pu Kru Ba Chaiyawongsa Phatthana found cow dung of the Lord Buddha when he was a Bodhisattva cow. This cow dung has turned into a sacred relic. Luang Pu Kru Ba Chaiyawongsa Phatthana therefore intended to build a Phra Maha Chedi to cover it at this place, fearing that in the future, if nothing is done, this sacred place will have villagers come to build houses to live in ignorance. This is how this temple was born.
