Warner Bros Harry Potter Studios, UK
Suggestion: go as early as you can. You will basically lose your sense of time in there and in the end will feel like there wasn’t enough time to see everything.
If you order Butterbeer drink you will get a mug that you can take home and re-use. If you order a Butterbeer ice cream you will get an ice cream bowl that you can take home. There is a washing station just beyond the Blue Car, so no need to wash the mug/bowl in the washroom.

Address - Studio Tour Dr, Leavesden, Watford WD25 7LR, United Kingdom (Located in Ashfield)
Highlights - Behind the Scenes of Harry Potter! Platform 3/4! For Harry Potter Fans
Rating - 5/5
If you would like to stay out of London and you are a fan of Harry Potter, I would suggest to visit the Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter, it is a walkthrough exhibition and studio tour.
To get there, it roughly takes an hour from London. I would suggest to head there after having breakfast in London, so that by the time you get there, you can consider to go for the tour and grab lunch inside. For me, the tour took around 4 - 5 hours as the place is big and there are some food and drinks that you can grab in the mid point and lastly maybe more time will be spent in choosing your perfect wand or robe for yourself and souvenir for your family and friends.
I truly recommend visiting as it will give you a "wow" feeling as you can feel that you are insde part of the movie - I am not going to be a spoiler, so you should head there to take a look.

When JK Rowling's thoughts were spinning fast, when the street lights outside the cafe were gradually lit, a little boy with black-rimmed glasses with lightning scars jumped on the paper. The emotions of countless boys and girls fluctuated with the little boy who waved his wand, dreaming of entering the magical world to defend his beloved Hogwarts.
In the Waterford area to the north of London, the Harry Potter studio recreates the front and back of this popular movie. Let us be dreaming, the scenes we are familiar with can be found almost everywhere, and even the most famous butter beer in the movie is perfectly reproduced in the studio. No need to rumor, maybe, just a few pictures, the next stop travel destination has been determined.

Located in the northwest of London, the Harry Potter Studios covers an area of over 50,000 square meters, including indoor studios and specially designed open-air studios. In the ten years of the Harry Potter movies, the film has been the main location for movies. After the film was completed at the end of March 2012, it was officially opened to the public and immediately became a magical place in the eyes of fans.
There are dozens of original sets and hundreds of real props and costumes left here. After the short cut into the short film, the grand Hogwarts Auditorium is on the way. The end of the auditorium is the teachers including Dumbledore. The Principal's Office, Gryffindor Lounge, Hagrid Cabin, Forbidden Forest, and Potions Classroom are all restored in a 1:1 ratio, making them immersive.

Magical Day at Harry Potter Studio
A must for everyone, fan or not.
Getting behind the scenes to understand how things were done and to be given a snapshot of life for the cast and crew was extraordinary. The sets were beyond words and set up to bring out the child in everyone. Definitely worth the day there. Be prepared to spend as everything from food to gifts are expensive.
The trip is coordinated by the various tour companies and the drive out was over an hour. Once there don’t rush from place to place, just go with the crowd and enjoy the moment.

A Magical Journey: Visiting Warner Bros. Studio Tour Lon
✨The Excitement of a Harry Potter Fan✨
As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, visiting the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter was a dream come true. The moment I stepped into the entrance, the excitement was palpable. Seeing the iconic sets, props, and costumes up close brought back all the magic and wonder of the books and movies. The anticipation built up as I walked through the Great Hall, Diagon Alley, and the Forbidden Forest, each turn revealing more of the enchanting world I had always imagined.
📍Location
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour is located in Leavesden, just outside of London. Getting there was straightforward; I took a direct train from London Euston to Watford Junction, and from there, a dedicated shuttle bus took me straight to the studio. The journey was smooth, and the signs made it easy to find my way.
🎫Ticket Price
Tickets for the tour were reasonably priced, considering the unique experience it offered. An adult ticket cost around £49.95, while children’s tickets were priced at £39.95. There were also family packages available, which offered a small discount. Booking in advance was essential, as the tour is incredibly popular, especially during weekends and holidays.
🍗Food
The studio had several food options, catering to a variety of tastes. There was a café near the entrance that offered a range of snacks and drinks. I grabbed a quick bite before starting the tour, enjoying a delicious butterbeer, a must-try for any Harry Potter fan. Throughout the tour, there were a few spots where you could grab a quick snack, but the main dining area was the Backlot Café. The food was surprisingly good, with options ranging from sandwiches and salads to hot meals and pastrie.
☕️🍰Afternoon Tea
One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in the Harry Potter-themed afternoon tea. Located in the on-site restaurant, it was a magical experience. The menu included a selection of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of pastries inspired by the wizarding world. The attention to detail was impressive, with each item crafted to reflect the magic of Harry Potter. It was a delightful break in the middle of the tour, providing a moment to relax and savor the experience.
🚉Access
Access to the studio was excellent. The shuttle bus from Watford Junction was convenient and ran frequently. The studio itself was well-equipped for visitors with disabilities, with ramps and lifts ensuring everyone could enjoy the tour. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing assistance whenever needed.
Final Thoughts
My visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter was everything I had hoped for and more. The excitement of seeing the magical world come to life, the detailed sets and props, and the wonderful food and afternoon tea made it an unforgettable experience. For any Harry Potter fan, this is a must-visit destination that truly captures the essence of the beloved series.

Harry Potter fans, don't miss this factory!
Potterheads! When you come to the UK, don't miss this Harry Potter studio!
Many people come to the UK to study because they love Harry Potter, and the UK has the Warner Bros. studio where the films were shot. You can spend an entire afternoon there! It's super big!
🎫Tickets
Be sure to book 2 weeks to a month in advance! If you find there are no slots available when you want to go, you can check on 🍑 for reliable sellers.
📽️Tour
This studio was originally the actual filming location for the Harry Potter movie series. It has now been transformed into a museum showcasing the original sets, props, and costumes used in the films.
You can see the Great Hall of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic, the Gryffindor common room, and Dumbledore's office here!! It's really spectacular! You can also see magical scenes from the movies, such as the enchanted ceiling and floating candles. (If you have any questions, you can ask the staff, they are very patient.)
The studio also offers interactive experiences, such as riding a broomstick for a virtual flight. To be honest, that scene is really funny and quite cheesy.
🍽️Food
There is a Dark Arts restaurant at the entrance, and the food is pretty good. There are also places to eat in the middle of the tour, including butterbeer🍺 and ice cream (but there's usually a queue in the middle, so I suggest eating your fill at the entrance).
✨Tips
The robes inside are really expensive. I bought a tie and a hair clip myself, and they look great in photos with a shirt! The merchandise inside isn't as good as you'd imagine, and a lot of it can be found at Universal Studios. (But the Bowtruckle is really cute, I kept it in my pocket, and people kept looking at it, haha, as if I really had one.)
There are many big spiders in the Forbidden Forest section, so if anyone is afraid of spiders, you might want to skip that part!

Wands at the Ready: My Wizardly Adventure
Alright, grab your broomsticks and hold onto your sorting hats because I'm about to spill the beans on my absolutely magical time at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London! From the moment I stepped through those enchanted doors, I knew I was in for something special.
Picture this: you're strolling down Diagon Alley, passing by Flourish and Blotts, eyeing the latest broomsticks at Quality Quidditch Supplies, and maybe even popping into Gringotts for some wizarding currency. It's like stepping into the pages of the books themselves!
And don't even get me started on the Great Hall. Walking through those towering doors felt like a dream come true. I half expected to see Dumbledore himself presiding over dinner! The attention to detail is absolutely mind-blowing, from the floating candles to the house banners hanging proudly above.
But the real pièce de résistance? Boarding the Hogwarts Express, of course! I practically skipped down the platform, giddy with excitement as I found my seat. There's something truly magical about watching the English countryside whiz by outside those iconic windows.
Honestly, I could go on and on about every little detail – from Hagrid's Hut to the Forbidden Forest – but I'll spare you the gushing. Just know that if you're a Harry Potter fan, this tour is an absolute MUST. Trust me, you'll be talking about it for years to come!

Also, the attention to detail in the sets and props transported me into the wizarding world. I really loved seeing all their costumes!
