I stayed at many hotels in Shanghai, but this one was amazing (^^) [Location] There was a shopping mall next door, so there were many dining options, which was very helpful for families with children. The restaurant "tapatapa" was delicious. [Pool] There is a sauna and a jacuzzi, so you can enjoy it even when the outdoor pool is closed 😊 [Breakfast] Honestly, I didn't think it was very delicious! But there were many types and it was fun to choose. [Room] I was upgraded with the platinum benefits, so the room was very nice. [Lounge] There was a cocktail hour, and the snacks were plentiful, which was great! I will definitely stay here again! #ShanghaiStaff#ShanghaiHotel#TheBund

#shanghaitrip Very nice stay here, the staffs here are nice and friendly. Also give me some choice of dining. Recommend you to have a drink at WET where has awesome view of Shanghai. Then YEN is a cool Chinese restaurant that offers delicious Chinese cuisines. Breakfast here also with high quality, provides different choice to the guest. Overall, very nice hotel for your stay!

If you’re looking for chill staycation or visiting Shangahi for the weekend this is the place to be. This hotel is located on the world famous Bund. Brunch is amazing all you can eat western style food and for a little extra you can enjoy free flow beer on tap. When you comes to W Hotel, many people’s first reaction is trendy. It’s avant-garde, magical background music, cool public area, big LOGO, and of course the indescribable fun in the room. Of course, all of the above are true. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to travel to many places, and of course I have encountered some W hotels. To be honest, the quality gap is still quite large. The most amazing one is Aman, the capital of Jordan in the mysterious Middle East. It is hard to imagine that there is a hotel in the country of Mongolia. WETBAR at W-Hotel should be in your top list of bars to visit while you are staying in Shanghai. Location wise is quite convenient as it is in the city's down town so It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. You can spend sometime in this place if you need a break from the sun or after a long walk to enjoy a drink or a Snack. What a wonderful time for Brunch. Being in Shanghai there is a brunch happening somewhere all times of day. And one of the more luxurious Brunches are definitely in the W Hotel on the Bund. The all inclusive brunch comes with a sea food platter and the biggest buffet you can imagine. There are 2 whole buffet tables just for Dessert. The rooftop atmosphere is also a great place to invite a group of friends and have a little party. I would definitely recommend coming at the start as it does get a little crowded after 12. All in all I would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Shanghai for Chinese New Year as it is a little risky to be travelling at the moment. 😁 #christmasgiveaway

W hotel is one of the coolest hotels in Shanghai very much aimed at the millennial market. The service is fantastic and the surroundings like no other hotel in Shanghai. This weekend we wanted afternoon tea and searching online it seems most hotel offerings are very similar, except W hotel. The afternoon tea set is Shanghai themed with different street names of Shanghai. The food itself is also based on famous Shanghai snacks. The set cost around 500rmb for 2 people and overall was tasty and most importantly fun and a bit different. During the week afternoon tea is served in their restaurant called ‘The Kitchen Table’. However, on a weekend it is served in their bar/ lounge area ‘woo bar’. The restaurant has better views end environment, however, woo bar is still very nice with a live DJ playing.

W Shanghai hotel offers spectacular brunches on the weekend. for around 800 rmb you can enjoy a starter main dish, dessert and a few drink. 📍66 Lvshun Rd W Shanghai The Kitchen Table is on the W floor (which is actually 4th floor) of the hotel. It has a great terrace beside a swimming pool, and with beautiful bund view. It would be a fashion and crowded bar at night but it’s also a good place to have lunch or some afternoon tea at day. We bought a lunch set voucher and had lunch on the terrace, It’s always pleasant to have lunch with such a great view, and I barely remember if the food is good. Of course, there are always beautiful girls taking picture here haha.📷 But I didn’t have the chance to have a W night yet. I believe it would be a totally different place. Getting There -  the easiest ways to reach the bund are either via the metro or by taking a didi (taxi) Attractions - there are several fun and entertaining attractions in the area, the most prominent one being the Pearl Tower. Hotels - hotels are excellent and in abundance on either side of the river by the Bund. Food & Restaurants - it is definitely worth the hassle of translating menus of some excellent Chinese restaurants rather than just going to the nearest McDonald's. Best brunch location in Shanghai 🥰 Sun, view and amazing food, all of that we got in one place for brunch at The Kitchen Table restaurant of the W Shanghai hotel! 😋 The stuff is very nice and do understand some English, so ordering is not a challenge at all. The food is quite good and I strongly recommend the deserts they serve, all of them are wonderful 😍 I did regret I haven't put on more loose dress so I can them them all 😆 The terrace is very spacious and offers a great view on the Bund, the Pearl and hotel pool. A dim sum dream come true! W Shanghai’s Dim Sum Buffet felt like an absolute bargain. At RMB 268 per person, we were able to order a huge variety of dim sum dishes that were prepared in the kitchen (not just laid out on a table like we initially thought it would be!) From steamed, fried and baked food to soup, seafood and even a couple of sweet treats, there’s plenty to choose from to satisfy all tastebuds - those looking for more traditional bites, as well as those that like something a little more fusion / modern. Last year, before the visa-free travel to China was lifted, I went to Shanghai, I'd like to introduce you to the W Shanghai Hotel, which has an unbelievable view. Located near the Bund, W Shanghai is a hotel with both luxury and hipness. The suite I stayed in had a spacious room and a wide view, and it was the best hotel I've ever stayed in because it had a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. ㅎㅎ I also used the lounge. One of W's charms is the WOO BAR, which offers signature cocktails, so if you're a hotel guest, you should definitely visit. It was also fun to find the W logos hidden everywhere.
