[2025 Dubai Stay] Travel Guide for voco Dubai, an IHG Hotel (Updated Mar)

#urbanwanderings Stayed in voco Hotel by IHG and was not expecting to have a breakfast, but then I was informed that the price actually has got half board included! This was my first time having buffet breakfast in hotel in Dubai! Lovely western buffet and with some touch of arabic menu - Za’ atar and Cheese Manaklah. Would strongly recommend to visit this hotel and go with the breakfast!

The hotel is situated in the heart of Dubai, offering excellent transport links. It's just a five-minute walk from the subway station (World Trade Center station) and close to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Taxis to slightly more distant locations are also very affordable and quick. 🏢✨The hotel boasts a modern design with a simple yet elegant exterior. It features an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. If you enjoy working out or swimming, this is definitely the place for you. The reception staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. They allowed us to check in early after our early arrival, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The overall service at the hotel was excellent, with the staff consistently warm and courteous. 🛏️ Room Experience: We stayed on the club floor, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was fully equipped with a minibar, fan, safe, ironing facilities, and air conditioning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom featured high-end amenities, including Aveda toiletries. Our room also offered stunning views of Dubai's skyline. Waking up to the cityscape every morning was a real treat. 🍽️ The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options, and the Tre Bar on the 50th floor was a delightful surprise. We received exceptional customer service there, especially from Luminta and Anwar. Their service was outstanding, and they provided us with many helpful local travel tips. The Celsius restaurant within the hotel also provided excellent service, with Sohail and Babina making us feel very welcome. ⚡Just a heads-up, we encountered a minor issue with the in-room dining service on one occasion, but the hotel's prompt response and resolution were satisfactory. 🍹 Recommendations nearby: 1. 51st floor bar: Highly recommend their cocktails and the breathtaking night view, especially on ladies' night, which offers great value. 2. Brass Monkey - City Walk: A great choice if you enjoy a variety of entertainment options. 3. Tortilla DIFC: Don't miss this restaurant if you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine. 4. Amaya Dubai Mall - Best Shisha Lounge & Restaurant: Enjoy delicious food and shisha inside Dubai Mall. 5. Naughty Pizza Dubai: Your go-to place for authentic and delicious pizza. 6. Sallet Al Sayad Seafood Restaurant: A seafood lover's paradise, offering a wide selection of delicious seafood dishes. 7. Awtar: A great place to experience classic local Dubai cuisine. Overall, the VOCO Hotel in Dubai is an impressive place, with both its facilities and service exceeding expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Dubai.
