Recently, we visited the Village Museum located in Herastrau Park, Bucharest, Romania. It is an open-air museum introducing Romanian rural architectural art, folk art, and peasant customs, like a large garden. We wandered among the 40 courtyards scattered in the museum, lingering in 66 rural buildings - these buildings include houses, churches, and workshops, all of which are relics from the 1930s rural areas of Romania. After the visit, the historical buildings that froze the rural scenery of Romania in the 1930s felt slightly better than the rural buildings of the "Republic of China" during the same period!
