If you have only been on the look out for National Parks in the United States, maybe it is time to reconsider! Located about an hours drive from Las Vegas, Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park was truly a remarkable surprise during my trip to the States in December 24. I had stumbled upon this place after looking at my friend's Instagram post while in Las Vegas. While it was not initially in my planned itinerary, I decided to squeeze it in anyway as the photos were amazing. Boy, I was not disappointed as the place was truly as depicted in my friend's photos. The joy of accidentally stumbling onto such a beautiful place was a really memorable moment! #WinHKFlight #winhkflight To me, Hong Kong is a holiday destination that offers an eclectic mix of culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong to view the skyline from Victoria Peak, trundle along and observe the city on the "Ding Ding", grab an afternoon tea at a local Char Chan Teng and...so much more!

Valley of Fire - love this place

I loved getting out of Las Vegas for some lovely scenery. It’s about an hour away and it feels like a different world to vegas! You can just drive through for a quick visit, or you can make a full day of it with some easy hiking. Sunset was a little challenging as the sun was easily getting blocked out at times and was very dark once completely down. I would advise forget sunset and make a great day of it instead! #Valleyoffire

Favourite day trip from Las Vegas

🔥 Valley of Fire is just one-hour drive from Las Vegas and is a worthy contender for a day trip out of Vegas. Valley of Fire is Nevada’s oldest and largest state park. The park is located around 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. It is a massive park filled with red rocks made from Aztec sandstone. Thus, it gives the illusion that the area is on fire and that is where the name came from. Depending on weather conditions, you can plan a day hike of different available trails or just simple a drive through to see the famous attraction. ⚠️ Warning-it can get extremely hot in summer. #meetlasvegas #tripblazers

Valley of Fire State Park is located just outside of Las Vegas Nevada. The park is absolutely stunning. It is made up of around 40,000 acres of stunning rock formations and a colorful desert. The roads that stretch through the valley are curvy and wind back and forth through the landscape. One of the most amazing things in the park are the petroglyphs. Some of them date back to around 4000 years ago. It is believed that the natives used the land to hunt and hold religious ceremonies. Visiting Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park was an amazing experience amidst unique landscapes. I enjoyed exploring the colorful rocks like the 'Fire Wave' and 'Elephant Rock', whose bright colors and exotic terrain added a magical touch to the scene 🌄. Walking along the sandy paths between the red mountain ranges was delightful, and the breathtaking scenery was enhanced by the presence of 🌵. The tranquil atmosphere and dry air added to the beauty of the visit, making it a great opportunity to enjoy the desert's beauty and appreciate the unique scenery.

#usatrip Exploring Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada was a highlight of my trip! 🌄 The park is about an hour's drive from Las Vegas and the $10 entrance fee per vehicle is a great deal for the incredible natural beauty you'll witness. The vibrant red sandstone formations and ancient petroglyphs are absolutely stunning. I started with the easy hike to the Fire Wave, where the colorful rock formations look like they’re on fire at sunset. 🌟 The drive through the park is equally impressive, with scenic spots like Elephant Rock and Arch Rock providing perfect photo opportunities. 📸 The park’s Visitor Center offers insight into the area’s geology and history, which adds depth to the experience. 🚗 For a serene escape, I also enjoyed the short but rewarding hike to the White Domes. Valley of Fire State Park Visit

I had a wonderful visit to the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the stunning red rocks and unique collection of the area. I spent most of the day exploring various trails, including viewing ancient rock art by the indigenous people. I found a great spot for camping at night and enjoyed watching the stars set in the sky. After a relaxing meal around the fire, I slept amidst the breathtaking scenery of the sea valley. It was a unique and amazing experience in one of the most beautiful natural parks in the American West.

Flame Valley State Park

Valley of Fire State Park, with unique terrain similar to Wave Valley. The weather today is very clear, and with just a casual snap on my phone, the colors are vibrant! Finally captured all the points and completed all the trails. Today's hike was 8 kilometers and burned off my calories.

Flame Valley State Park

Last April, I came to the park for a visit. The actual area of the park is very large, and it cannot be completed in one day. After a year, I came again. The entrance fee is still charged per car. For a car from outside the state, it costs 25 US dollars, and for a car from the state, it costs 20 US dollars. Last time, I mainly visited the Red Rock area, where the mountains looked like flames from a distance. Continuing on the same road as last time, I saw large mountains with colorful colors。

#passionpassport T’was spring of 2016 when I first traveled to Las Vegas Nevada to visit my baby sister and her family. My sister took me to some famous tourist destinations around Nevada, and our trip to The Valley of Fire is one of my personal favorite. The place is so amazing, the rocks are huge! It was so memorable, we brought some foods and had a picnic there , we enjoyed climbing the rocks… it was awesome! I was planning to comeback in 2020, but the pandemic happened. I hope to visit my sister and Nevada again this year, God willing .
