The place that I was born, and I had my childhood
this trip means a lot because I broughT my daughter back to experience where I was born in spare my childhood. We brought her to farmers market the theme park she enjoy the nature, picking berries outside our house. Of course we miss Chinese food and Holland is never replaced. That is lack of Chinese food. Good things some good Chinese restaurant even the fried rice. It’s nicer than SINGAPORE. Well, there are many Chinese now every country is full of multinational. People is so beautiful. You get the experience the real culture intertwining with all other nationalities. People were great each other. It’s not like SINGAPORE. Where we don’t often speak or even just greet strangers a simple good morning will make someone’s day isn’t it? This is what we have to learn. #myitinerary #familytravel

Nijmegen, a beautiful ancient city in South Holland
🇳🇱 When you go to South Holland, I highly recommend Nijmegen for three reasons:
👍🏻 Historical town: Like Tainan's capital city, Nijmegen is a town with a very long history. Looking around, every street is full of classical European-style floor-to-ceiling windows, roofs and red bricks. I guarantee you can't help but pick up your phone and take 20 photos.
👍🏻 First, the friendliest traffic etiquette: Compared with the Taiwanese people who rush around and violate the rules everywhere, Nijmegen will completely blow your mind. I rent a bicycle locally, so I ride it on the road every day. All the cars I pass by, when they see me crossing the road from afar, automatically stop and wait patiently to give way. There is no exception. What's even more ridiculous is that when the bicycle light turns green, but I have already crossed the road, the road is empty, and no cars waiting there try to run away. They all wait patiently until the bicycle light turns red before starting. This is impossible in either mainland China or Taiwan.
👍🏻 Five-star restaurant treatment: All the service venues in Nijmegen, whether bars, cafes, or restaurants, are all smiling, polite and friendly. They will come over from time to time to ask if you like the meal and if you have any other needs. Taiwan really needs to learn and make progress!
🇳🇱 Conclusion: This is a place where you can stay for a week at a time to experience the scenery of the Vaal River, the beauty of the church square, and the friendly people.

Nijmegen is the second oldest city in the Netherlands very close to the German border and perfect for visiting it has a beautiful view but also a moving history
The city was built in the riverside highlands so the city does not have a single canal in the Netherlands very few cities without canals during World War II it became a base for the left German army to advance therefore in 1944 bombed this into ruins was not the German army but the counterattacking Allied American fighter jets after the war Nijmegen only restored a few important historical buildings did not adopt a comprehensive restoration of the old view
