I went to Unzen Jigoku, located near Mount Unzen and Mount Fugen! It took about 40 minutes to get there from the Fruit Bus Stop in Konagai-cho, Isahaya City! 🚗 I didn't go all the way to Mount Fugen, but it was still fun to get there! This was the first time I've seen "Hell" in 22 years. 👀 I was surprised by the strong smell of sulfur lol I learned that hot springs are still active and still gushing out. I thought, "Maybe I should take care of it," or, "Maybe I should jump in," but that's a no-no! lol As I entered the course, there were lots of cats, hot spring eggs being sold, and a place where you could put your feet in and feel the geothermal heat! No one had done it, but I tried putting my feet in! It wasn't very hot 😅 but it was a good experience. lol If anything, the stone chair was hotter! ... And there is also the No. 1 hotel in Kyushu, and I thought I would like to stay there too!
