We spent a whole day at universal studios. Got there shortly after it opened and there were queues already. Thank goodness we had the express pass, was a life saverp. We had to wait for the minions ride only for 15mins, every other ride we got on almost straight away. We were able to do all the rides and roam around the studios in one day, without the express pass it wouldn’t have been possible. We even did the Harry Potter ride twice. Don’t miss the universal studio tour, very informative and takes you through real movie sets. Download the free universal studios app, it’s quite useful, has show times, maps, ride wait times and other information. Parking in the general area is not that far and we did not feel the need for paying extra for parking close by. When people make a reservation for Mario Land and wait until their designated time, they should not have to face a two hour wait for Matio cart. Bummer!!! Didn't even get to go on. If Mario Land is what you want to see, either come in early on the morning pass or just skip it. I have never seen the park so crowded. I know the new attraction just opened but it was worse than Disneyland crowded.

I joined after 14. As it is called Hollywood, I also participated in a tour of the back of the studio and a tram ride! The bus ride took just under an hour. It was fun because it used filming spots and 3D and it felt like the actors were nearby. #tripblazers Will never go wrong by spending time in universal studio @Hollywood. Is the biggest and contains the most exciting rides and covers all the acting places. They still have all the old gadgets or vehicles used for movies back in the 80s. It is suitable for adults and of course children too. You will never get bored! We enjoyed it during non peak season and is on a Friday during office hour, waiting time for rides is almost negligible up to 30min without express pass! Bought the tickets and it has free second day. Too bad we are flying back in the night. We spent about 6 hours and covered 70% except for kids stuff and shopping.
