[2025 Seogwipo Attraction] Travel Guide for Umutgae Coast (Updated May)

#SpringTravel 📍Seongsan Ilchulbong Spring in Jeju comes the earliest in Korea. Today, I will introduce you to Seongsan Ilchulbong. Especially, if you go on a day with good weather, you can see the incredibly blue sea and flowers and fields. There are two routes to Seongsan Ilchulbong. One is free admission and the other is paid admission. The free admission takes you to Umutgae Beach, and the paid admission takes you to the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong:) The mountain is quite steep, so it can be difficult, so if you want to climb to the top, please wear sneakers. We took you to Umutgae Beach. If you go down, there is a black sand beach and the sea spreads out right in front of it:) Please note that it is also a very pretty place to go with free admission.

For domestic travel, I highly recommend visiting this place at least once as it is one of my favorites. This place is called Seongsan Ilchulbong, a very famous cultural heritage site in Jeju Island. The view of Jeju Island from here is absolutely stunning. Right below this place is a spot called Heeyeon, which offers an incredibly beautiful view. I highly recommend visiting it at least once. There are both paid and free entry areas here, which makes it even better.

I went to Umutgae Beach under Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and the sun was shining so brightly that the sea was really beautiful. Ah, something to watch out for! Be careful not to slip on the wet rocks! I think there was a yacht tour nearby, and the view from the sea would be great too. When I went, they were busking, so the atmosphere was even better with the music. If you take a picture with the sea in the background, it turns out really well, and there were many people taking pictures with the magnificent rocks in the background.
