Umpqua National Forest 🇺🇸

My visit to Umpqua National Forest in Oregon was nothing short of breathtaking! 🌲 Located about 2.5 hours south of Eugene, this natural wonderland is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The entrance fee is only $5 per day, which feels like a steal for the incredible scenery you get to experience. From towering pine trees to serene rivers and waterfalls, the forest has it all. I started my adventure at Toketee Falls, one of the most picturesque waterfalls I’ve ever seen. The short hike to the falls was easy and offered stunning views of the turquoise water cascading over the rocks. 🌊
Next up was the Umpqua Hot Springs, a must-visit for anyone looking to relax in nature. The hike to the hot springs was about half a mile uphill, but the reward at the top made it worth every step. Soaking in the natural hot pools with the forest surrounding me felt like a dream. 🛁 The water was warm and soothing, a perfect contrast to the cool mountain air. The area around the hot springs can get a bit crowded, so I’d recommend visiting early in the morning for a more peaceful experience.
After relaxing at the hot springs, I explored some of the forest's hiking trails. The North Umpqua Trail is a highlight, stretching over 70 miles and offering everything from easy walks to challenging hikes. I wrapped up my day with a picnic by Lemolo Lake, enjoying the serene views and the sound of the wind rustling through the trees. 🌳 Umpqua National Forest is truly a gem of the Pacific Northwest and should be on every nature lover’s bucket list! #trip #UmpquaNationalForest #OregonAdventures #NatureLovers #WaterfallChasing #HotSpringsRelaxation
