Natural scenery

Udawalawe National Park is located at the junction of the Ratnapura region and the Monaragala region. It covers an area of more than 30,000 square kilometers and is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. This is a natural park that rivals the African savannah, and in fact Udawalawe surpasses many well-known East African national parks. But the vegetation in this national park is not lush, replaced by a desolate beauty, and the lack of vegetation also makes it easier to watch the hunting scene here. This is indeed a national park you should not miss in Sri Lanka. 1. The entrance of the tour guide service park is located 12 kilometers away from the fork of the Ratnapura-Hambantota road and 21 kilometers away from Ambripytiya. Most people are group tourists and the organizers come from the inn or hotel where they are staying. The park's guides have a keen eye for wildlife, and most of them know the park and the animals in it well. 2. Wildlife In addition to elephants, sambar deer and wild buffalo, there are also meerkats, jackals, water monitor lizards, crocodiles, sloth bears, and sometimes Ceylon leopards in the park. There are more than 20 kinds of snakes and different birds in the park, according to statistics there are 210 species.
