Jiko-ji Temple is a temple of the Zhishan School of Shingon Sect. According to legend, in the 5th year of the white pheasant, because of the wishes of Emperor Takatoku, the Qidou Jialan built by the monk Michizhao of Yuanxingji Temple in Nara is its origin. The hand-in-hand Guanyin Bodhisattva of the deity is a secret Buddha, which is only open to the public in the 60th year of the Jiazi year. Rare buildings in the temple, such as the main hall, Suigu-do, Bentendo, and Medicine Gate, have been registered as cultural relics. This Inuyama Jakko-in Temple, also known as "Owari Hongye Temple", has more than 1,000 maple trees. In particular, there are many large trees, and because it is located along the Kiso River, the difference between cold and warm, and the colors of the autumn leaves are especially gorgeous, so it is worth seeing.
