You do have to buy a ticket to see The Book of Kells in their famed library, unfortunately I missed the opening hours and couldn't visit. Behind the college, there is a small park with a statue of Oscar Wilde, the iconic Irish playwright. One of my favourite parts of visiting Dublin was wandering along the canals, you will see quaint houseboats, various waterfowl and also just locals soaking up the sunshine (whatever they can get) and enjoying the view.
