[2024 Cebu Attraction] Travel Guide for Transcentral Highway (Updated Dec)
Roads/Highways
Address:
Transcentral Highway, Philippines
Charlie's Cup
Charlie’s Cup is a roadside nature cafe hanging by the cliffs of Balamban. This treehouse-esque chill destination has a great unobstructed view of the verdant mountains and a very soothing breeze to complement the views.
Additionally, the combination of wood, metal, and glass gives a very clean and charming look that blends well with nature despite its modern architecture. A couple of trees sprout from under the wood panels and shoot forth into the open where the sun shines brightly. All of these elements put together creates a simple and rustic vibe that’s both pleasant and extremely comforting to the soul.#foodie #staycation #cafe #awesomepic

Humba Heaven
H#foodie #cafe #awesomepic umba Heaven serves not just their now famous humba meals, but also mouth watering dishes from breakfast, native treats to barbeque! Plus a stunning mountain view like no other.
No need to travel far, it's just a 10-15minute ride from the city, along Transcentral Highway, and you will experience this foodgasm with a view anytime during the day!
Its chill and relaxing ambiance definitely wins the hearts of those who are stressed enough, and if the view and ambiance are not enough, both Maharlicup and Humba Heaven offer hearty meals that will surely melt your stress away.

EVO NATURE CAMP
EVO Nature Camp is like pulling out the plug of your phone; it is 32 kilometers away from the city. A distance away from the noisy horns of the cars and the bright lights of the screens.
Experience serenity with the vastness of green surrounding you. The view is breathtaking enough that you can just sit back and relax and gaze at the clouds rolling over the hills as you feel the cold wind blows.
You can even have an astonishing view of the sunset and catch a view of kanlaon volcano if the clouds are clearer.#foodie #cafe #campingglamping #staycation #mytripvlog #summervacation

I Can Stay Here All Day!
Getting There - Lakeview Le Jardin, Kilometer 30, TCH, Cebu City
Attractions - Botanical Garden, Café & Restaurant, Mini Library, Sightseeing (overlooking a nearby lake), Fog
The perfect place for some alone time, or alone together, moment. You’ll be disconnected briefly as it has no signal reception in the area. But if you need internet, you just have to ask the staff for the Wi-Fi password.
You can enjoy reading while sipping a cup of coffee. If you didn’t bring one, then you can choose from their shelves whatever catches your attention. Personally, I prefer writing. And thankfully, I brought a notebook with me when I went there.
The cafe and restaurant offers a variety of meals and snacks which you can enjoy with coffee, tea or fresh juice.
I haven’t been to the botanical garden but I’d love to go back and check out the place later when I have more time.

Lakeview Le Jardin 🌸🌼
25km away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can find the newly opened botanical garden of Cebu. Lakeview Le Jardin is situated in Barangay Tabunan, Cebu City. You wouldn’t mind the long travel time because once you get there you’ll be treated with a scenery of the gardens filled colorful plants (all the plantitos/plantitas would definitely love this place) and a view of the lake through the mountains. 🌿🌳🍃🌺🌸🌼
Entrance Fee to the garden is only 50 pesos.
Their food and beverages are priced just right plus it was sooo good!! I recommend you to try their pizzas and shakes! 👍🏻

Balwarte ni Alfredo!
Balwarte ni Alfredo has been one of the most visited/stopped cafes of the motorists of the Cebuanos. Right after our Mt. Mauyog hike, Ate Joan suggested to have our lunch in Balwarte ni Alfredo. Everyone was pretty tired and exhausted during the hike. I was amazed with how the home was designed. It’s a renovated antique house in the middle of Gaas – Balamban.
This antique house was built many years ago and it showcases various prehistoric artifacts that were bought and collected from different places outside the country, mostly from Indonesia.

Breakfast and the view
Coffee with a view? Yes, please! This mountaintop cafe is 25 kilometres away from the city centre — and it’s definitely worth the trip. Serving speciality coffee, fresh fruit shakes, pastries, and an all-day breakfast menu, this restaurant is an ideal stop on your way to popular Cebu City tourist spots like Sirao Garden and Temple of Leah.
