London sightseeing: Near Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Statue of Governor Nelson and lion statue
#TripToEngland #London #PiccadillyCircus
When I went to London, England in October 2018, I saw the lion statue and the statue of Governor Nelson near Piccadilly Circus.
This lion statue was much larger than I had imagined, sitting next to the pedestal under the statue of Governor Nelson, and each square pedestal also has a relief carved into it.
The pedestal itself is very large, as it supports a large cylindrical tower, and the relief is also large.
Around the subway station in Piccadilly Circus, there are many high-end brand shops, shopping areas, and restaurants.
When I walked to Trafalgar Square, there were heavy stone buildings and beautiful statues, and a large fountain with a pedestal like a Baumkuchen in the center, and water flowed continuously from the disc-shaped saucer on top of the statue, which was very beautiful.
It's large, so it took a while to walk around, but I was very charmed by the quiet, calm streets and old stone buildings, and I'm glad I took my time to look around.
While many tourists rush around noisy places...this was the only place where I could look around at my own pace without shopping, and it was fun.
