Kanazawa Castle amazed me with its grand white walls and peaceful gardens. Wandering around the huge wooden gates and stone paths felt like stepping into a samurai-era movie. The view from the castle grounds was stunning, especially with cherry blossoms or autumn leaves. The most famous area in Kanazawa is the Higashi Chaya District, where most of the cafes and tea houses are located, attracting a lot of crowds. However, I personally recommend crossing the bridge to visit the Kazue-machi Chaya District, which is relatively less crowded.
