🚉Transportation strategy:
1️⃣George Town—butterworth
Take a taxi or bus in Penang to the ferry terminal Georgetown, buy a ferry ticket to butterworth. (The day I went, because of Thaipusam, the ticket was free)
2️⃣butterworth—Kampungagong
After arriving at butterworth, enter the mall, take the elevator to the 8th floor, the grab pick-up lounge.
Grab—Kampungagong, 14 ringgit special, about 20min.
3️⃣Kampungagong—butterworth
From Kampungagong to butterworth, it's hard to get a car. There is a bus at the entrance of Kampungagong, route 603, the fare is about 2 ringgit, and you can reach the city in half an hour.
Once you get to butterworth, you can grab wherever you want to go.
🔺tips: 603 is hard to wait for, look at the time on Google Maps, and leave the park when the bus is about to arrive.
