🇮🇹Spanish Tower on the Italian island of Sardinia
The Torre Spagnola di San Giovanni di Sinis is one of several coastal defense towers built by the Spaniards on the Sardinian coast in the 16th century to protect against pirates and Saracens. The tower is located on the Sinis peninsula, on the western coast of Sardinia, near Cabras and the archaeological site of Tharros.
The tower is strategically located, offering views of the coast and the vast area including the Sinis beach.
