Bali is a large island divided into many different regions. There is not much public transportation and the attractions are scattered, so chartering a car is the best way to travel around Bali. The chartered car we booked this time is a small van that can seat 7-9 people. Since there are only 4 of us, the space is sufficient and comfortable. The chartered driver also serves as a tour guide, mainly arranging visits to several popular check-in hotspots, including: Wat Lempuyang: The Gate of Heaven, where you can overlook the entire view of Mount Agung, admire the stunning scenery, and take beautiful photos. Tirtaganga Water Palace: Originally a resting area for the royal family, you can walk on the water stepping on lily totems and admire the ancient temple statues up close. Goa Raja Waterfalls: Experience the beauty of the cascading waterfalls on site. This is a beautiful villa in the northeast of Bali. The pond and the surrounding gardens have a Hindu history, but also a Western atmosphere, and you can enjoy the scenery where the two divisions blend together. There are stepping stones in the pond, water coming out of the tower, and many carp swimming. There are several things that both adults and children can enjoy. There seems to be a lot of families among the tourists. Tirta Gangga Water Palace - Karangasem, Indonesia! Also known as Bali's Water Palace, it is one of the heritage sites of Karangasem Kingdom. It is one of the most favourite places by tourists for its greatness of building architecture. Its main attractions are great ponds, crossing the trail of stepping stones over the pond, feeding the koi fish that swim beneath, unique statues, and impressive green garden. The palace was built in 1946 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Its complex was almost destroyed in 1963 because of the eruption of Agung Mount. Then, the destroyed area was rehabilitated in 1979, particularly on the water garden and others. Name of Tirta Gangga comes from the word “Tirta” means “holy water” and “Gangga” means “name of a holy river in India”. 💡 It opens from 08.00 to 18.00. Arrive early in the morning for a place with a quieter situation and the freedom of taking photos in a good angle.The entrance fee is IDR 25.000 per person for domestic visitors and IDR 40.000 per person for foreigners. #2023travelwish A beautiful and unique water palace in Bali. It is located near Ababi Village near Mount Agung, 83km from Denpasar. Tirta Gangga is a convenient stopover after some itineraries in eastern region of Bali. The water from the palace came from Gangga River as the Hindu Holy river has tiered fountains, tropical gardens and carvings og mystical creatures that spout water into bathing pools. It is surrounded with some statues too. There are cafés and restaurants where you can eat something while enjoying the view. Some hotels are available as well. It's an interesting experience. 2023 is approaching and hopefully I'll be able to go to my dream destination which is Japan to experience the culture and eat lots of Japanese food. #2023travelwish #tripblazers

Tirta Gangga literally means “Water from the Ganges” or the Water Palace, is a famous Karangasem Bali Heritage site. It is located at Abang Sub-district, Karangasem, eastern part of Bali Indonesia🇮🇩 which features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Here, you need to pay the entrance fee which is IDR 40,000 = $2 and can take photos while feeding kois. (Tip: you can buy the Koi food at the entrance gate) 👍🏻There are small souvenir shops, public toilets, food and drinks stalls, restaurants, and a public pool. ✨This is one of the most memorable trips I had, traveling about 3 hours from my hotel to get to this place is worth it. Tirta Gangga Water Palace Bali is a former royal palace built in 1948 by King of Karangasem, that’s been turned into beautiful open gardens. It is one of the historic relics that survived the eruption of Mount Agung. There are thousands of koi and goldfish that have lived in this pond in Tirta Gangga for decades. Definitely one of my favorite destination in the East of Bali. It has many nice spots to take action photos. I had so much good time visiting it and resting in the side of the pond after a long day of travel and 2 hour drive from Denpasar. #summervacation

Beautiful gardens that should be part of anyone's visit to Karangasem. The front part of the gardens by the entrance are busy with a lot of tourists. It's fun to step on the waterstones and walk through the fish pond. It's very serene and quite in the back. There is also a temple in the back that is not open to visitors. Lots of statues and fish ponds. You can also take the gondola for a ride on the main pond. Very relaxing and worth a visit. #GiveThanks

Tirta Gangga is located in the eastern Karangasem district It is far from the airport and the busy area✨ It is recommended to arrange a day/most of the day to visit the eastern attractions when planning💕 I live in Ubud area charter a car to go about 2 hours drive ~🚗 Before entering the Water Palace, pass through a shopping street🛍️ If you want to shoot carp in the pool inside ~ you can buy a little fish food here ~ 🐟 Almost every one sells ~ about a few thousand IDR 3 packs of fish food ~ depending on size ~ But actually entered to realize that maybe too many people feeding XD not attracting a lot of fish ~ And it's all super big!! The always pain point of photo spots is the super crowd gathering ~ So unless it is scheduled for the very early first trip✨ Otherwise basically the popular attractions in Bali are crowded 👥👥👥 Want to take a satisfactory photo really need a glance closed seven + the right time, place and people 🤣🤣 But the architecture is really beautiful, besides the pool, the sculptures are very special✨ So not for the sake of checking in it is worth a visit! A beautiful place worth visiting. The view is very pretty and the garden is also very nice. They have a lot of fish that add to the beauty of this place. You can buy fish food at the entrance. The price is 50k per person. It is also recommended to arrive very early to get better pictures because the place can get a bit crowded. A beautiful and wonderful temple. Buy some fish food to feed the carp, that was my favorite part of the whole visit! It was worth much more than the Gates of Heaven. Here, you felt the tranquility you actually want to feel at a temple - not torn apart as if you're waiting in line for a photo (literally). This is one of the best places to visit in Bali. If you go to Bali, you must visit this temple. It's not really a temple though. But here you can see a lot of fish and feed them. You also have access to a pool that is kind of a natural swimming pool, but you also have to pay to feed the fish with the food you buy at the entrance. You can also shop here and bargain for products. This is really one of the best places in Bali.

There are spring water swimming pools at the back that are not crowded at all - you can pay an small entrance fee to use 2 or all 3 pools and changing rooms (clean).
