The thin mist has not yet dissipated, and the returning fishing boat is looming in the mist. At this time, the sky and the sea have no boundaries, and the returning sail seems to come from the sky and go to the sea.

Shijianhai B&B is located in Dongbi Village, Xiapu County, where the sixth episode of "Amazing Village" was filmed. This island B&B is built on a cliff, offering stunning views of the coast and lush mountains. You'll feel like the owner of this island villa, with the sea right outside your door.
The B&B is divided into courtyards, and the price is based on the courtyard. The courtyards are not connected, and only guests can enter. There's an infinity pool and hot spring pool downstairs, a café and book bar on the first floor, and a 360-degree transparent floor-to-ceiling window restaurant on the second floor. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset!
The first phase has 13 rooms, 10 of which have sea views, hence the name "Shijianhai." The second phase has 11 rooms with 270° sea views. Each room is clean and cozy, with fresh and elegant curtains, vintage wooden furniture, and soft fabrics. Some beds even have canopies, so you can wake up to a romantic view of the sea through the white curtains.
The owner hopes that every guest can experience the scenes she loves, and find solace in the afternoon tea ritual. In addition to accommodation, Shijianhai has plenty of space for sharing, hosting parties, and learning flower arranging. In the evening, everyone can gather to sing and drink. Xiapu Shijianhai Homestay is a modern, light luxury eco-sea view homestay with a unique geographical location. There are beaches, ancient temples, and the Huazhu scenic spot for watching the sunrise at the Chinese coordinates nearby, and the transportation is very convenient, suitable for self-driving. The owners of the homestay are a post-80s couple, a designer and an architect, who have been living in Beijing for 16 years. They have integrated their travel experiences and design concepts into every corner of this homestay, full of deep feelings and unique charm.
The homestay has 5 floors, each with a good sea-view balcony where you can fully enjoy the sunset. The room design is simple yet cozy, with white as the main color, paired with historical old items and handmade rattan chairs, full of artistic atmosphere. The infinity pool, terrace, and fully transparent floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow you to enjoy the charming sea view at any time. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities such as smart toilets, bathtubs, air conditioning, and full-house heating, ensuring maximum comfort.
Shijianhai Homestay not only offers excellent accommodation but also outstanding dining. The Chinese restaurant provides authentic Minnan cuisine, handmade by local aunties, with genuine flavors; the Western restaurant offers a 360° sea view, allowing you to enjoy the scenery while dining. During afternoon tea, you can have coffee on the terrace and enjoy a leisurely time. The homestay also has its own surrounding area, selling exquisite specialties and souvenirs, such as oyster-scented candles and fridge magnets, which are perfect for gifts.
Days at Shijianhai are leisurely and fulfilling. You can go out to sea with fishermen to chase the sunrise; take children to catch crabs and pick sea snails, experiencing the joy of the sea; sit in the book bar all day, drinking premium hand-brewed coffee, laughing and chatting; splash around in the S-bay pool, capturing the beautiful sunset of this fishing village. 🌴 Discovered this popular B&B while doing my homework, ordered a cup of cappuccino for 38 yuan, sat down to rest, took a few photos, and there were even people with big cameras coming to shoot because of its great location
🌴 The restaurant upstairs (open to the public) and the accommodation downstairs (with a private pool) offer afternoon tea until 17:30 - dinner starts officially after 17:30✨
🌴 Around 16:30, the waiters will start notifying the afternoon tea customers, and although they are quite busy, each waiter has a very good attitude🙈

Xiapu's first complex that combines a guesthouse, private hot spring pool, afternoon tea restaurant, bar, tea room, and a public welfare library (under construction) into one stunningly beautiful treasure spot with a gorgeous wabi-sabi style.
The main attraction, Shi Guang Meal Collection, is spread over 2 floors with the first floor focusing on beverages.
On a good day, you can come over to enjoy the sunset and have a delightful afternoon tea.
The second floor is mainly for dining.
Currently, they offer set meals priced at 288 yuan and 588 yuan, and you can also order some snacks à la carte.
Even if you're not staying at the guesthouse, you can still come over to enjoy the afternoon tea separately~
The hot spring pool charges a fee of 168 yuan per person.
Guests who are not staying at the guesthouse can also come over to soak in the private hot spring separately. Guests who do stay at the guesthouse can enjoy a discounted price for the hot spring pool. That's roughly it~ Since it's a trial operation phase, the business is still adjusting various aspects.

Travel to Xiapu in Fujian during the summer, and I highly recommend this seaside fishing village
This summer, I came to Xiapu to find a place full of art and culture. My first stop was the seaside village - Dongbi Village, a traditional Fujian fishing village nestled between mountains and sea, exactly the artistic village I had imagined.
First, let's talk about how to get to Dongbi Village:
Dongbi Village, Sansha Town, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province
🚗 It is recommended to charter a car or drive there yourself, about 30 kilometers from Xiapu County.
🏨 Accommodation: If you have time, I definitely recommend staying here for a night to see the beautiful sunset and sunrise.

Dongbi Village also has many Xiapu specialty dishes, such as octopus, cold sea cucumber, vermicelli paste, fried mud snails, scallion oil crushed snail fried rice noodles, salt and pepper mantis shrimp, oyster pancake, etc., all worth trying. Oh, and my favorite is the seafood fried vermicelli.
Where are some good places to take photos:

✅ Dongbi Village County Road 981: There's a fork in the road here that leads down to the sea, forming a U-shape, with the sea at the end of the turn
✅ Yiqi Yisu Terrace: This is a terrace facing the sea, with an arch on the terrace that is especially photogenic
✅ Shijian Seaside Homestay: Personally, I think it's the most beautiful homestay in Dongbi Village, especially the pool that resembles the one in Santorini, Greece, which is a pleasant surprise.

Only after arriving in Xiapu did I realize that Shi Jian Hai is indeed the ceiling of B&Bs here. I loved it when I saw it online, and it really lived up to expectations when I arrived.
In addition to accommodation, the B&B also has Chinese and Western restaurants. There is a large sea-view terrace between the Chinese and Western restaurants, where you can sit and eat while enjoying the beautiful sunset when the weather is good. We chose the Chinese restaurant and had a great time dining on the terrace while admiring the stunning sunset. The food at the Chinese restaurant was surprisingly delicious, much better than some popular online restaurants, and not expensive either. Four of us ordered five dishes for 260 yuan.
In the evening, we returned to the B&B, where the staff had already prepared sweet soup and pastries. Having a bowl of sweet soup with the local specialty tea cakes was simply fantastic.
The B&B also has its own gift shop, which is a delightful store selling local specialties and souvenirs with exquisite packaging. They are not the overly commercialized kind of gifts. There are fridge magnets unique to Shi Jian Hai, as well as oyster-scented candles, which I really liked.
I didn't want to leave the B&B; I highly recommend this place. If you're planning to visit Xiapu, Shi Jian Hai should be your first choice. You definitely won't be disappointed, yyds!

Ningde | What you see is what you get
Before coming, I was worried that the pictures of the homestay would be heavily filtered. But the actual stay experience is still full marks.
Because it is a popular homestay, I didn't have high expectations for the service, but everyone in the homestay is very active. There are actually 16 people in the service group, and there is 24-hour emergency service~
The homestay's western restaurant has a scenic location that you can book in advance. The overall real materials and dishes are worth the price. The roast chicken is quite delicious, hot red wine, remember to taste the small pear soup!
The Chinese restaurant recommends fried oysters, and the barbecue at the bar in the evening. Grilled green peppers, grilled eggplants are all good. In summary, the service is enthusiastic. It's quite good to be in a daze here.
