Tianluhu Forest Park.
Tianluhu Forest Park is located in the northeast of Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Here is some information about the park:
Planned operating area: 880 hectares. It was expanded from the 225-hectare Tianlu Country Park built in 1996 into a provincial forest park.
Geographical environment: The park is densely forested, with beautiful mountains and rivers, a quiet environment, good vegetation, a wide variety of tree species, and rich forest appearance. The terrain is mainly hilly, with Niutou Mountain in the south as the highest point, with an altitude of 362 meters.
Scenic resources: According to the "Quality Grade Evaluation of Scenic Resources of China's Forest Parks", it is a national second-class forest park and a suburban forest park with good landscape resources. It has well-preserved vegetation, deep canyons, and waterfalls.
Flora and fauna resources: It has South Asian subtropical monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forests, wisteria, and rich wild flora and fauna resources. Among them, the "thousand-acre wisteria" in Tianluhu is very distinctive and is the only large-scale wisteria native landscape in Guangzhou.
Cultural landscape: There are two small natural growth groups of Dalbergia odorifera, a national second-class protected plant, growing on the back mountain of Muyuan Village. Muyuan Village (production team) once had a "Wenwu Temple" with a history of more than 300 years, and there are still ruins and a clearly identifiable stone plaque of "Wenwu Temple" rebuilt in the Daoguang Yiyou period.
Water resources: There are two small reservoirs in the park, Huangshantian and Xiangdong. The nearby Tianluhu Reservoir has a lake surface area of 1,280 acres, with clear water and rippling blue waves, and the mountains and rivers reflect each other, making it a pleasant sight.
Tourism facilities: There is a Flying Jungle Adventure Park in the park, which provides adventure activities with various obstacles such as suspension bridges, net roads, and trails, suitable for tourists who like outdoor adventures.
Ticket price: CNY 5 per person.
Opening hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (last entry at 5:00 pm).
Transportation: Visitors can take public transportation such as bus 346 directly to the park, or drive by themselves. There are the North Second Ring Expressway and the new Guangzhou-Conghua Highway in the north, and it is only 1.5 kilometers away from the Guangshan Highway in the south, with convenient transportation.
In short, Tianluhu Forest Park is a tourist destination integrating natural landscapes, cultural landscapes, and outdoor adventure activities.
