How to get here: 🚄Hangzhou East Railway station. 🚇Metro Line 4 going north towards Xintiandi metro line 3. Now on Metro line 3 Huanggushan Exit B. It’s a small area that you can walk and take pictures , note that you may bring snacks as the stores around are very local. You can find street food , inside the park at the end is a paid park. Hidden Tower. On the 20th of January 2020, My friends and I decided to take an in-city trip to Tianducheng; aka The Paris of Hangzhou. This was right after our exams and it's all we needed at the time, distance. The main attraction is the tower itself, but the surrounding area is also stylized to sort of match a French theme. We visited the Eiffel tower in Tianducheng, Hangzhou Province, China. It’s like walking in Paris streets at the middle of China. The weather was amazing in August and aside from the Eiffel tower replica (one third of the original on) there are lakes and temples which you may visit. The tower light show started at 7 pm, Friday and Saturday and there is tons of statues which you can visit and take photos with.

About one hour by train from Hangzhou. I would recommend walking into the nearby community with the Victorian looking buildings in order to get a nice view of the Tower. There’s not a lot of restaurants and cafes in that general area. Still in China but wants to experience Paris? No need to worry because this park in Hangzhou has Paris feels to offer! Once in Hangzhou, the place is easy to find. Just search “Tiandu Park” on didi and you will be there. You can take pictures on the Eiffel Tower replica and the street looks like you are really in France. One more good thing is that there is no entrance fee! The park opposite the tower is Tiandu Park. So if you have traveled quite a bit in Hangzhou, you know all about Tiandu Park and it’s beautiful Eifel Tower replica. Across from the Eifel Tower replica is a walking street. Go for a nice stroll down the walking street. You will pass a store that seems to be filled with holiday decor and a million other random things. Don’t just walk past and ignore this store! Located right across from The Ninth Music shop, this little thrift shop is filled with all kinds of vintage decor, old toys, holiday items, garden decor and more! Even if you don’t plan on purchasing anything, this place will give you a nice little hit of childhood nostalgia! They have everything from 90’s cartoon character magnets to Cabbage Patch Kids baby dolls (with the baby powder smell still in tact, if you know you know) ;). This place is filled with all kinds of things, the store is small but you could easily spend an hour in there just going through all the different items. Not recommended for the claustrophobic. It gives hoarder house feels but a hoarders house filled with treasures from the past! Can’t afford Paris? China has got this for you 😁 TianDuCheng, also known as Sky City/ Fake Paris is located in Hangzhou’s Linping district. Large scale replica of the French capital, the area also features some iconic Parisian sights such as the Eiffel Tower, the classic Haussmaann buildings and the Versailles Gardens! The fountain, the architecture of the buildings, the landscape, the well-trimmed bushes and of course, the Eiffel Tower as back drop all in one are meant to give you those French vibes. There are some clothing shops, restaurants, convenience stores and very few tea shops. If you’re dreaming of a croissant 🥐 and ☕️ latte, Starbucks is pretty much the only option. The area isn’t as bustling as you’d expect. It was pretty calm and at times rather empty. It’s also a famous location for wedding pictures.
