雲南省大理白族自治州大理市
Opening times:
Open year round, 24/7Open
Recommended sightseeing time:
0.5-1 hour
Not in Europe, but at Xingsheng Bridge in Dali.
📸: If you like taking photos, Xingsheng Bridge is a must-visit. It's one of the best places to take photos of the sunrise. 🌅
🧣: Wear a coat to take atmospheric photos.
🅿️: If you're driving, you can park at the Haibowan International Hotel and walk across the road to the photo spot.
The bridge is white because the Bai people love the color white. The golden-winged Garuda on the bridge piers is the guardian of Dali, and the pagoda on top of the piers represents Dali as a Buddhist kingdom. It's a representative building of the Bai people in Dali! The bridge has a unique architectural style and elegant curves, combining classical charm with modern art. It's a great place to take photos. 📸 It was also a filming location for the TV series "Rattan."

This is not London, but the Bai-style Xingsheng Bridge.
Xingsheng Bridge is a great place for wedding photography and travel photography, and is a must-visit spot for tourists traveling around Erhai Lake. The bridge fully embodies the romanticism of "Cangshan as the covenant, Erhai as the oath", and is deeply loved and favored by tourists! The Shui Suo Pavilion by the Xi'er River is also a great place for photography. Many tourists think that Xingsheng Bridge is a European-style building, but it is not a European style, but a Bai style. The piers of Xingsheng Bridge are modeled after the Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas, and the golden bird on the pier is the Bai totem golden-winged bird! It is so comfortable and cozy to take photos and check in here, enjoying the sun, seagulls, breeze, and beautiful scenery.

Are you sure you won't come to Dali this summer?
Dali is a city worth living in slowly.
It has comfortable temperatures, pleasant scenery, and the local flavor of ethnic minorities. No wonder Dali remains a popular tourist destination.
Dali has many tourist attractions, including the ancient city of Dali, Cangshan Gate, Cang'er Avenue, Jinyuan Road, Wenbi Road, Haise Park, Xiaoputuo, Wenbi Village, Xingsheng Bridge, Fengyangyi Village, Wuhua Tower in the ancient city of Dali, and more. Visiting just a few of these spots can take several days, so for those who love to travel and live in different places, come to Dali and stay for a month without getting bored.
Here are a few selected spots:
1- Erhai Lake:
The entire loop around Erhai Lake is 140 kilometers long, divided into the Haidong and Haixi regions. If you have enough time, you can explore it over two days without rushing!
① The Haixi line is an ecological corridor with fresh scenery and relatively close distances between attractions. For the west line, you can rent a bicycle or a public electric bike. When renting a public electric bike, pay attention to the battery level and whether the return location is within the designated area.
② The Haidong line is nestled between mountains and water, offering vast scenery with greater distances between attractions. For the east line, it is recommended to drive or take a bus. Plan your time in advance, buy tickets for each leg on the official account, and remember the drop-off points and the original pick-up points.
2- Haise Park
After years of closure, Haise Park has reopened with a comprehensive redesign, featuring beautiful bamboo forests, glass walkways, ancient tree reflections, shimmering water, and the popular 'Couple Tree' on the large lawn outside the park. This is the epitome of Dali's autumn romance.
Navigation: Love in Haise, Honeymoon Peninsula
3- Longwei Pass
A thousand-year-old ancient city of the Nanzhao Kingdom that 99% of tourists don't know about. Well-preserved ancient residences, temples, ancestral halls, and former residences of famous people bear the marks of historical simplicity and vicissitudes. The vegetable market, snack shops, tailor shops, and cheongsam shops are full of a sense of age and local flavor. Modern literary shops dotted along the old streets add new charm to the ancient city's old appearance.
Navigation: Longwei Pass Historical and Cultural Block, Xiaguan Town
4- Xizhou Ancient Town: Free admission, open all day. A well-preserved Bai ethnic village. Wearing white Bohemian or ethnic clothing, taking photos here is particularly beautiful.
5- Dali Ancient City: Here you can experience the leisurely life of the ancient city, especially the North Gate Farmers' Market, which you must visit! The morning market offers cheap flowers, wild mushrooms, and fruits.
6- Shuanglang Ancient Town: Facing Erhai Lake, it retains the original appearance of the ancient town. Yang Liping's art space is here, a popular check-in spot.
As for food, wild mushroom hot pot is a must-try. The broth is rich, the soup is delicious, and the flavor is intense. Freshly picked wild mushrooms paired with hot pot are tender and refreshing.
Additionally, Dai-style hand-grabbed rice is also a must-try! The rice is soft and glutinous, paired with fragrant Dai-style sauce pork, each bite is full of rich Dai flavor.

Domestic three-day summer trip? Take a walk in windy Dali!
This summer, if we talk about domestic summer resorts, Yunnan and Guizhou are top choices.
Today, let's talk about how to spend three days and two nights in Dali~ comfortable and pleasant.
🗓Itinerary:
Day 1
On the first day, I strolled around the ancient city. Although the ancient city has a lot of commercial atmosphere, you can still see many interesting things.
The owner of the hand drum shop was playing 'Heading West to Dali', and tourists living in Dali set up small stalls, either playing tarot cards or exchanging trinkets from other places.
In the evening, I went to a bar and listened to the stories of the singers inside.
Before 10 o'clock, I returned to the bar on the top floor of the Pullman Hotel, overlooking the bustling bridge and the human fireworks.
Day 2
I got up early and went to the inn near the Moon Full West Building in Haixi to catch a sunrise. When the golden sunlight spread over the lake, it was like my blessing to you.
After breakfast in the nearby village, I rented an electric bike, bought a sunflower balloon, and rode along the Huanhai Road all the way up to Haise Park. The wind chased me all the way, and my smile chased you.
On the way, I passed the ancient town of Xizhou and ate a local baba. The full itinerary was filled with sweetness.
In the afternoon, I rented a convertible sports car for half a day, toured Haidong, and the boats in Wase were most dazzling when the sun was just right. The small Putuo in Haidong sparkled at sunset. Finally, I returned to Panxi S Bay, where unlike during the day, I caught the Tyndall effect at night.
Day 3
I got up early again and climbed Cangshan. At noon, I had a popular vegetarian meal at Jizhao An. In the afternoon, I visited Chongsheng Temple. I didn't go to Wuliang Mountain this time, but maybe I could find the Six Veins Divine Sword manual in Chongsheng Temple?
👍Most recommended:
1. Sunset around Shuanglang
2. Sunrise in Haidong
3. Chongsheng Temple and Jizhao An
4. Dali Erhai cycling path
👎Least recommended:
Fengyangyi Village, if it weren't for the TV drama filter, it's really just an ordinary Yunnan township market.
🍽Food recommendations:
1. Spicy and sour fish
2. Grilled milk fan
3. Da Jiu Jia
No need to deliberately look for restaurants, the prices on certain apps are affordable and the taste is good.
Dali has endless wind and flowers, indescribable snow and moon. And your smile brings romance to Dali.

This isn't the Seine riverside~ it's Dali (Xingsheng Bridge)
My friends went crazy asking, thinking I took a trip to Europe!!
When you come to Dali, don't miss this niche check-in spot.
Located in the urban area of Dali, the Xingsheng Bridge spans the Erhai Lake, and those who have been here say it resembles the Seine River in France.
Just a casual snap with your phone can give you the feel of a European blockbuster, very artistic and romantic, with a vintage movie vibe.
In winter, there are red-beaked gulls from Siberia here. Address: Navigate to 'Erhai Lake Forest Park' and get off. Filter color grading: Optional, wake up to the movie 'Midnight in Paris'!! Tips for visiting:
1. It is recommended to go around 4 or 5 pm, during which the light is not so strong, and the lighting is very soft, making for great photos.
2. Remember to check the weather in advance, as the weather is very important for photography!
3. The ultraviolet rays in Dali are strong, so remember to apply more sunscreen when going out to take photos! (Already sunburned)
The Hungry Backpacker s Adventure
Yunnan Tourism | Dali Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake
I'll start by helping everyone avoid the pitfalls of Dali!
📍Note:
1⃣The west side of Erhai Lake is the only route for cycling around the lake, no outside vehicles are allowed, it's very safe, and the scenery is particularly beautiful! 🤩 (Longkan Wharf: sunrise→Caicun→S-shaped bay: refuel→Xizhou Ancient Town: sunset)
2⃣Comprehensive sun protection! Physical barriers + sunscreen! Remember to bring a hat with a string!
3⃣Dali's Santorini is very photogenic! The style of European architecture and ethnic buildings, every corner is a scene.
4⃣Make sure to check your hotel and the places you want to visit, plan ahead! Don't waste time on the road!
5⃣Tourists with luggage should avoid staying in the ancient city, as the cobblestone roads make it difficult to drag luggage. Stay alert to people who approach you proactively.
6⃣Be careful when buying silver ornaments in scenic areas, it's easy to get cheated if you can't tell the quality.
7⃣In the scenic area, if you see cartoon characters wanting to take photos with you, remember to keep your distance.
📍Transportation:
🚅High-speed train: Get off at Dali Station, then exit to the blue sign where you can take the No. 8 bus to the East Gate/North Gate, or take a direct bus to the scenic area.
✈Airplane: Dali has an airport, direct flights are available, but the airport is quite far from the ancient city, though closer to Xiaguan. If you have time, you can experience the nightlife of Xiaguan.
🚖However, transportation in Dali is not very convenient, many places are not accessible by bus. 😢
📍Recommended off-the-beaten-path photo spots in Dali:
📷Zhemoshan: Dali's city of music, with beautiful scenery, you can drive up there, and overlook the entire Xiaguan city and Erhai Lake...
📷Xingsheng Bridge: A white Gothic-style bridge, with a Seine River atmosphere, great for portrait photography...
📷Cang'er Avenue: A road next to Dali University, from which you can see through Erhai Lake at a glance, with an excellent view...
📷Longkan Wharf: A beautiful place in Dali to watch the sunrise, with flocks of seagulls in winter, and after the sunrise, you can take beautiful photos by the sea...
📷Wase Wharf: A good spot along Erhai Lake to watch the sunset, with many abandoned iron ships, and the nearby grove is very photogenic, bursting with a sense of story and art...
MAVERICK CRAWFORD
Listen to the advice, never come to Dali in winter, you will really regret it
Regret not coming to Dali earlier
This city is really refreshing!
Coming to Dali in winter, the seagulls by the Erhai Lake, the sparkling lake, the cold Cangshan Mountain and the gentle ancient city all show us the romance of Dali

It's like going back to the Tower Bridge in London when I was in school. Looking down from the bridge, it's the sparkling lake, ducks playing in the water in groups, and the white cruise ship in the distance.
3️⃣Longkan Wharf
One of the best places to see seagulls, you can get the best view of sunrise and sunset.

The pastoral ancient town in the oil painting is the shooting location of 'Go to the Place with Wind', giving people the feeling of living elsewhere, suitable for slowly strolling and feeling
5️⃣Canger Avenue
You must stand at the highest point to see the Erhai Lake, connecting the Cangshan Mountain and the Erhai Lake, you can take pictures of the traffic along the way and the flowers on the street.

You can come now or wait until winter to take pictures with the seagulls
📍Location: Navigate directly to Xingsheng Bridge
This famous Dali 'internet celebrity' spot, some people call it 'European' architecture, but it is actually a bridge with Bai characteristics, all made of marble, plus Bai characteristics, it looks like you are in Europe.
📷Shooting time:
💛It's better to shoot at dusk, so you can see the sunset.
💚Don't worry if it's cloudy, the cloudy day can bring out the atmosphere of European style, just bring coffee and newspaper as props, you can still take good pictures.
💙It's better to shoot in winter, put on your coat, and the Siberian seagulls in winter, the pictures will have more aura.
🧣Photo outfit:
French dress, or British style, you can also put on a trench coat and hat to take pictures, the style is very European.
📸Shooting props:
✅You can bring your own newspaper and sunglasses.
✅Dali's flowers are very cheap, if you prepare a bouquet of flowers as props in advance.
✅You can prepare a cup of coffee for shooting in winter, it looks very French lazy style.
⚠️Reminder:
1️⃣These days, I have seen people parking electric cars and cars on the bridge. I urge everyone not to park on the bridge, it's really dangerous!!! If you park, you can choose the commercial street over the bridge, it's only a five-minute walk.
2️⃣There are ecological corridors on all sides of Xingsheng Bridge, so you can take pictures on all sides, where there are fewer people!
3️⃣You can take pictures on both sides of the bridge, but recently there are more wedding photos, sometimes you have to queue up to take a picture.
4️⃣After visiting Xingsheng Bridge in the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Erhai Park, eat barbecue in Xiaguan at night, it's really delicious.

The romanticism of taking photos at the Xingsheng Bridge in Dali gives a feeling of being abroad
The hotel is just downstairs of the Xingsheng Bridge🌉
Unexpectedly, it's so photogenic to take a walk by the river at dusk
You can also encounter the romance of wedding photoshoots
See the joy of others feeding pigeons
I went there at the beginning of the month, there weren't many pigeons
For photo spots, please be at the south side
Navigate to 📍Erhai Forest Park
There are long benches there
