Bangkok 6 days and 5 nights travel guide 🌟
Traveling with three mothers to Bangkok, the six-day and five-night trip was full of surprises and delicious food. We arrived at around 5pm on 13/09. After going through security and picking up our luggage, we had something to eat at the airport food court to avoid the traffic jam, and then called a taxi back to the hotel in Siam area. After putting down the luggage, I went to Zhuda Night Market and Lotus Supermarket immediately. The popular store was crowded and I didn’t want to go in. Lotus Supermarket was not as good as BigC.
On the morning of 14/09, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at #Rongtai, walked to #Terminal21 for lunch, and then took the subway to #Chaducha Weekend Market. On the way back, we called a car to go to #BigC to buy things, then had dinner at the food court upstairs before returning to the hotel. It takes a lot of time to call a taxi in this place, and it is inconvenient to take the subway with luggage, so I can only take the expensive tacho.
On 15/09, I went to #Thonburi Seafood Market and ate freshly cut and processed shrimps, crabs and prawns, which were super delicious. Afterwards, we went to Little Maldives and walked around in 5 minutes. We checked in at #Iconsiam, took a boat to the night market at the train pier, and then went to #Xiongwangfishporridge to eat giant fish head soup, it was delicious!
16/09 I had fried chicken porridge for breakfast at McDonald's, then took a boat to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. The durian sold opposite the pier was super delicious. Walk to Sampin Market and Chinatown, you must try #林老五's fish skin dumplings, they are so delicious. There is no night market on weekdays, so we return to the hotel early.
17/09 Pilgrimage to the Four-Faced Buddha, strolling and eating in the commercial area.
18/09 Breakfast of fried pancake bread with soy sauce, check-in at 55% coffee on the floor, and prepare to return. Must-buys: 7-11 homemade drinks, banana cakes, sandwiches, and various sample packs. I came to BigC specifically to buy a box of luggage for a wild trip. I can get a tax refund after the purchase and I can also store my luggage for free. There are many buy one get one free souvenir shops in Watsons. If you think it’s cheap, just buy a shirt. Pure cotton is not expensive.
Food: Spicy and sweet. Please specify when ordering if it is not spicy. Most of the seafood is served with seafood chili sauce, and mango sticky rice is almost the same everywhere. It depends on your luck whether you can eat sour mango and raw sticky rice. Tom Yum Goong is available in pork, chicken, seafood and vegetarian versions with different charges. The porridge is Teochew porridge, and there are not many restaurants. There is a charge for drinking water, which is usually served in cans with a glass of ice. Many restaurants don’t have air-conditioning. Some of the ones that do have air-conditioning will charge an extra fee, while others will charge an extra fee of seven. Buy a recharge card at the food court first, the amount is optional, and you can get cash back on the same day. There is no breakfast culture in Thailand. The first meal is called breakfast, so there are rice and fried noodle stalls everywhere in the morning.
Accommodation: My only requirements for a hotel are that it is clean and not located in a deep alley. The street lights are generally dim and it is dangerous to go back at night. All shower gels, shampoos, hair care products, facial cleansers, antiperspirants, sunscreens, toothpastes and toothbrushes can be purchased at 7-11 at low prices and good quality.
OK: Call the car using the Bolt app and pay cash directly. There are two subway companies, and at some stations you need to exit the gate and buy a ticket before transferring. Taxis don't use meters, so if you want to take a taxi, it's more expensive than taking a tuk-tuk, but the risk is also higher. The streets are very clean, but there are still a lot of rats as big as cats, and they are not afraid of people. No matter how good the weather is, it may rain heavily at any time. Make good use of Google Translate to communicate with each other, it is very convenient. If you ask for directions, the other party may not be able to tell you but will personally take you there. Many places are nearby, so you can visit them all without having to go back. Shopping malls and restaurants usually open at 10 o'clock. If you don't want to waste your morning time, you can look for places that open before 10 o'clock in advance.
