My first thought upon arrival here is Oh, is this it? The Lobby seemed underwhelming. However I was greeted by a very cheery Front Desk. While the reception wasn't impressive, the swimming pool sure was! Located right next to the Andaman ocean, I had the best time lounging here and taking it all in. Service by staff is A+++. They were helpful & genuine! Room is spacious and amenities delightful. There is even a tip sheet on how to safely enter, exit the bath tub. If I may suggest, to upgrade room slippers to better quality and to feature your name on it. Breakfast was okay and checking out was easy, but not as friendly as the Check in personnel. It was the Staff who helped me with my bag that wished me a safe journey and to please return again. #malaysia

Langkawi Westin is one of the more well know resorts in Langkawi with great history Its located next to the ferry terminal making it very accessible Westin and St regis is interconnected so guests can go over to St regis to wine and dine too. Breath taking view, with calming waves. Great for a family trip. Shuttle service is available too. And you can easily grab to supermarkets

What I like about this hotel are; 1.The lobby entrance is an open space concept, high ceiling, lots of space for sitting and comfy, and the bar with facing the sea view. A lovely place for day and night. 2.The team is fabulous, professional, and provides good services. 3.The room is fantastic, with a balcony facing the garden, swimming pool and sea view. Be aware of the groups of monkeys that want to see you, and make sure you lock your door before you leave the room. 4.There is a restaurant on the beach that serves lunch and dinner, the food is great with a fantastic view. 5.There are two swimming pools, the main pool has a bar that serves drinks. 7.The garden landscape is absolutely beautiful, with direct access to the beach. Best for a walk in the morning and evening. 8.The restaurant for breakfast is very nice, the food and drink is great too. You must try the fresh yogurt!! These two hotels are side by side and they have a connected walkway within the beach area. At the Westin Langkawi, they have more pool facilities for the children and their infinity pool is right in the centre of this hotel. I had one of their rooms right at the garden wing. Now when I think back, I feel my room at Westin Langkawi feels like Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore. I can go to the pool and beach easily from my room. Besides St Regis and Westin Langkawi, I have not tried Ritz Carlton Langkawi yet. I will try to plan a weekend escape to visit these three hotels. #malaysia #langkawi

It was my first time here and just a night. How I wish I can extend my stay here.The resort are so lovely.Greenish surrounding with view of Andaman sea.My son really enjoyed the rock pool so do the heated pool.The other pool are the infinity pool which we didnt had the chance to dip in. The breakfast are good too.So much to eat.Really satisfied with the buffet spread. Location wise, we just went out for seafood dinner at Fishfarm restaurant near the hotel that cost us rm4 by Grab car. Cannot wrap my head around how this hotel is so beautiful and the fact that the customer service staffs are so friendly and welcoming is just as amazing. I love the comfort of the bed, the white tea body wash and shampoo smell, how they provide us with Lavender balm oil for a relaxed aromatherapy sleep, and on top of that, the room is actually clean. Heading to Malaysia, first stop, Langkawi

Langkawi's itinerary is very relaxed, basically playing in the water at the hotel, going out to play in the water by boat, speeding along the mountain roads in a small car, and stopping to stroll on the beach to see the sea. Stay: Chose the Westin with a pool Villa, which proved to be a correct choice. The hotel scenery is very nice, but the 'beach' after the tide is black mud, not suitable for playing in the water. When not wanting to go out, spend time in the private pool, snacking, and enjoying the view. Saw a beautiful sunset and moonrise on Mid-Autumn night, worth the price. Travel: After getting off the plane, rented a locally produced small car at the airport, the rent is about over a hundred RMB a day, the power is also good; the attractions on the island are scattered, if you want to wander around, renting a car is more convenient. The price of oil is also very cheap, RM2 per litre, equivalent to 3 RMB per litre, jaw-dropping, specially took a photo to record. (PS The direction of the car is opposite to that in China, be careful!) Play: Inevitably participated in the island hopping itinerary. One is Pregnant Maiden Island - Wet Rice Island - Sea Fishing BBQ, the sea water is not clean, many people chose not to go into the water, but catching some colorful small fish is also fun. One is the Mangrove tour, very good! You can choose to take a boat or paddle (if parents are not brought along, would definitely choose to paddle in it). The waterway in the mangrove is very wide, feeding monkeys along the way, watching eagles, the boat speeding through the mangrove, the boatman occasionally does a dragon tail swing, rushing into the sea all the way, no speed limit is great! In addition to island hopping, there is an old aquarium on the island, although not big, but also saw cute jellyfish, different styles of puffer fish, and grouper bigger than people, for me who really likes to see marine life, still very satisfied. Buy: Local chocolate is indeed cheaper than Kuala Lumpur, if you like to eat, you can buy some. The locals recommended a local specialty sea cucumber oil, said to be good for muscle soreness and skin moisturizing, tried it, woke up and the calf seems to be not so sour, but the taste is very sour and refreshing, emitting a seafood smell all over. A couple of interesting things: On the last day, the car had to be returned, so didn't want to add too much oil, went to the gas station to ask how much oil can be added at least, the answer was 10, thinking about if you drive to the gas station in China and say add 10 yuan, you would probably get beaten up, haha! The monkey king in the mangrove jumped onto our boat to eat bread, was very nervous, because had suffered from the monkeys in Emei Mountain!
