The view from the Haikou Westin Hotel is really nice. You can see the famous Century Bridge of Haikou from the window. The hotel is in a great location. You can take a walk downstairs for a few minutes to the popular Cloud Cave Library, which is especially suitable for watching the sunset at the beach at dusk. I stayed in the River and Sea View Suite, and the outdoor pool of the hotel is right below the window. The suite also has a separate dressing room. I have to mention that the Westin's Heavenly Bed is really comfortable, and I slept through the night! The executive lounge has a lot of food during happy hour. It's very chill to sit outside and have a glass of white wine and a snack. The buffet dinner is at the Taste Western Restaurant on the first floor. There is a small hot pot with Zhaobo vinegar for cooking seafood and meat, as well as grilled lamb skewers, etc. There are quite a few guests who come here for the buffet, and it is very cost-effective.

The infinity pool on the fifth floor is worth a swim, facing the bridge, and great for photos. · Cleanliness: 4/5 The linens are very clean. The Heavenly Bed here is a bit too soft for me. The bathroom is well cleaned, but the floor-to-ceiling windows were definitely not wiped (they didn't look dirty, but when I breathed on them, several handprints appeared). Maybe the suite layout means there are too many floor-to-ceiling windows to clean each time. · Location: 4.5/5 Right in the center of Haikou, the location is unbeatable. Century Park and the popular Cloud Cave Bookstore are just a few steps away, and MixC Mall is also nearby, just a few minutes by taxi. Overall, although this Westin is labeled as a resort, I feel it's a standard business hotel, so the service staff can't compare to those at a resort.

Turn left to the bedroom space. You need to follow the corridor until you reach the end of the corridor to the reception area. If guests visit, they will inevitably peek into the private space of the bedroom, which is a bit embarrassing. After all, the joke that the Westin Haikou is about to open has been passed around for more than a decade, from the Starwood era to the Marriott era, and it has finally overcome numerous difficulties to bloom. The hotel is located on the south side of the Haikou Bund Century Bridge, adjacent to Century and Binhai, two major parks, and faces its main competitor, InterContinental, across the river.
