The surrounding area is full of shops renting clothes, 150 baht a set No time limit, the Chao Phraya River across the Grand Palace can be seen, 1-2h can be photographed to stroll through! ❌ do not recommend the Grand Palace because the land is not big tickets are expensive, several are not open, depending on personal wishes it! ▪️ Siam Paragon and Centralworld together, Netflix footbridge is here, large shopping district can slowly stroll ▪️ Four-Face Buddha + Big C: walk from the shopping district can be reached, the Four-Face Buddha is super small, like in the square; BC big supermarkets can buy speciality products, Thai school uniforms are also here to buy, a set of 100 + rmb very cost-effective! ▪️ ordinary red light district, you can see it, a bit shocking! D2 ▪️ICONSIAM: super big! The Grand Palace is the palace of the Thai royal family. It was built in 1782 and has been expanded and renovated by generations of kings to its current scale. The Grand Palace has obvious Siamese architectural features, it is magnificent and has national characteristics, and it is called the 'encyclopedia of Thai art'. In 1992, the Thai government funded the construction of the Thai Buddha Garden in Luoyang White Horse Temple, which is a condensed essence of Thai architecture represented by the Bangkok Grand Palace. The Grand Palace covers a huge area and includes two parts for touring: the Jade Buddha Temple and the Grand Palace. The tourist entrance is at the Jade Buddha Temple. 🇹🇭Jade Buddha Temple Named after the jade Buddha enshrined in the temple, the temple is located in the northeast corner of the Grand Palace, about a quarter of the size of the Grand Palace. Part of The Grand Palace this is a quite sensational temple. The architecture and design are something that you really need to see. The huge statues are really detailed and a little scary. Especially the green one. There are several shrines here with different styles of Buddha, each one unique. The star attraction is the Jade Buddha. This is a magnificently carved Buddha which has rotating outfits. No photography is permitted. You can walk around and enjoy the buildings and the religious feeling. The Grand Palace is a must visit place in Bangkok. It is full of art, ornate architecture, history, etc. I spent about a little over two hours here. The longest time out of all the temples that I visited. The entrance fee is 500 Thai baht person. There is also a strict dress code so please dress modestly. There are so many buildings and things to see in here. The most famous thing to see here is the emerald Buddha temple called Wat Phra Kaew. It’s a temple with a small Buddha that’s emerald color. After the temple, you can also see demon guards and visit the Royal pantheon. The Chakri Maha Pradit Hall is where the kings used to live. If you ever visit Bangkok, Wat Phra Kaew is unquestionably among the most breathtaking locations to see. One outstanding aspect of the paintings is the incorporation of golden hues, which give them an ethereal, difficult-to-describe shine in the light from a distance. The Jade Buddha is the temple's holiest object. This sacred figure is surrounded by a number of myths and traditions, and pilgrims are constantly praying in the room where it is kept. I stayed in the temple for a while before moving to the Grande Palace, which is only used for very formal occasions like coronations and royal funerals. For me, the most intriguing structure was a sizable structure with Thai-style roofs that was constructed totally in a European style. It is very nice how crossing the busy city with motorcycles zinging everywhere, chickens squawking loose and throngs of humanity surging about, one soon is calming by the very large reclining Gautama Buddha. For many, Buddha is the omnipresent friend, the eternal divine nature revealed for compassion to assist all beings towards peace. The traditional Buddhist ornate wall and ceiling decor is present and offers much wherein to immerse the eyes and feelings. One considers that Gautama, after awakening, said there is not a recent time when he awakened but that he had realized he is the awake one from time immemorial. This means Buddha.
