The single-storey hotel feels comfortable. Downstairs is the market, but I was on the upper floors without any noise. The bed pillows are of moderate hardness. The service is good. We respond to requests. There is a shared kitchen on the first floor. The room has a pantry, but no cutlery is provided. Disposable plates and forks are not available in Wellcome supermarkets. Perfect if the hotel can borrow tableware. Surrounded by fruit shops, restaurants and shops, shopping is very convenient. Take bus 112/102, 25-30 minutes to Mong Kok. minutes by taxi directly to Central. now It's only a few minutes' walk to North Point MTR station

#香港海景酒店 Located in Quarry Bay, Star Residence is a high-end serviced apartment that combines residential and hotel functions. Staying here is like living in a modern seascape illustration. Especially for units on high floors facing the sea, the window is the vast and boundless East Coast of Hong Kong Island, with changing light and shadow day and night, and the scenery is poetic. The room is stylishly decorated and elegant, equipped with complete kitchenware and living equipment, suitable for long stays and short breaks. I love to make a cup of coffee in the morning, sit on the sofa in front of the window and stare at the sea in a daze, and the worries of the whole city are diluted between this sea and sky. In terms of transportation, Quarry Bay MTR Station is within walking distance, and there are many parks and art spaces nearby. It is a corner of the city that combines art and sea view life.

Sharing with everyone the experience of staying at Star Residence after the plastic reduction order in Hong Kong 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: Stayed a few times, the room hygiene is quite good, very clean. As for soundproofing, it still depends on luck. If you are more sensitive to noise, you can ask the front desk if they can arrange a corner room, which has a lower chance of encountering noise. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The most basic room type has a layout that can be seen at a glance. Upon entering, there is the bathroom, followed by a small platform to place things, then a small living room and a double bed. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: Since the plastic reduction order started in Hong Kong at the end of April, many hotels no longer provide amenities. However, Star Residence still provides toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, and canned water. The original Thai fragrance brand Thann's amenities have been replaced, but they did not follow the new regulation to charge for reduced services, which is worth a thumbs up! Additionally, the room has a refrigerator and a washing machine, which is super convenient for my 1-2 week stay. The only downside is that the small living room chair is not very comfortable to sit on. If you need to work in the room, it can be a bit uncomfortable. In this case, you can go to the public space on the 1st floor, which is much more comfortable. 💰Per Capita Consumption: Standard room HKD 800-1000 💗Other Tips: The hotel is located on Chun Yeung Street, a famous market street in Hong Kong. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby. It takes about 5-8 minutes to walk to the subway. If you are going to a place that is 3-5 stops away by tram, taking the tram is also a good choice.

For tourists, it's relatively off the beaten path. But when it comes to the Monster Building and the tram on Chun Yeung Street, you definitely know these classic check-in spots are all in North Point. 🇭🇰 Follow the Hong Kong dramas and explore North Point with a one-day citywalk, complete with a guide to food, fun, and accommodation! 🚶North Point Citywalk: King's Road - Chun Yeung Street - Oil Street Art Space - Monster Building 📍King's Road, Pedestrian Overpass Old Hong Kong cityscape, densely packed buildings, a real-life concrete jungle, with an intense sense of oppression and awe. The street signs are very characteristic of Hong Kong. A casual snapshot is enough to capture the essence of Hong Kong style. 📍Chun Yeung Street The tram terminus on Chun Yeung Street. It's conveniently located, right below is the tram terminus on Chun Yeung Street, and just a few minutes' walk to the North Point/Fortress Hill MTR stations. 🌊 I stayed in a deluxe sea view room and really liked its decor and design, simple and tasteful. The room offers an unbeatable view, with floor-to-ceiling windows in both the living room and bedroom overlooking the sea. ✨ The room has a minibar, a fridge, and even a washer-dryer combo. The hotel has a gym and a shared kitchen. The Lounge on the second floor is a very comfortable public space where you can work, rest, or dine, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that also allow you to watch the trams passing through the market. Another good hotel option The stellar hotel is located near Noth Point on the Hong Kong Island side, near the tram and train, walk about 100-200 meters, near 7-11 and restaurants, noodles, congee. The room is good, clean and is a very new hotel, just opened for a little over a year, near shopping areas, can go shopping in the Causeway Bay area, take the tram, less than 10 minutes, but this hotel is near the market.
