Maldives | Lazy Day Diary: Food and Fun Recommendations | The Residence by Cenizaro
Just had breakfast 🍳 and now I'm lying down to write about my food and fun recommendations from the past few days. Just for reference, if you find something more fun, please let me know and I'll try it this afternoon!
🏨 The Residence by Cenizaro, the main island is Dhigurah, which has more restaurants. Falhumaafushi has fewer people, and the entertainment facilities are basically the same. Dhigurah has an extra kids club.
🍽️ Food: Have an iced coffee ☕️ or iced Coke for breakfast, or even a glass of champagne 🥂 Cheers! Breakfast drinks are all free 🆓 You can also play with pomegranates, and there is a wide variety of fruits. You can choose fruits and have the chef cut them for you.
🛶 Fun: The classic trio of snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking are all free. There are life jackets 🦺 in the room, but no safety ropes or swimming rings 🛟 Paddleboards and kayaks can be rented for 1 hour for free every day. The paid activities seem quite expensive, so I don't really recommend them, but if you have the money, go for it. You can collect shells 🐚 but you can't take them away ❌ It's best not to pick up crabs 🦀 They are alive and well, and there's no need to put them in your hand ❌
📷 Photography: I suggest taking a lap around Dhigurah and Falhumaafushi for photos. The seaside scenery is similar, but there are still some landmarks worth photographing, especially Castaway Island, which is very nice!
🧧 New Year: The New Year ceremony is very strong, with a special Chinese New Year's Eve dinner, lanterns and the Chinese character "Fu" everywhere, lucky bags, and Chinese pastries 🥮 You can also go to the kids club on Dhigurah to make Chinese knot paper folding, body painting, and more. It's quite fun, and there's even a ping pong table 🏓 On the first day of the New Year, there is a cocktail party 🍹 Beach party to watch the sunset with free cocktails and barbecue 🍖
💆 Spa: This island is said to be the only one with a Clarins spa, which is quite expensive, with taxes alone costing 50 🔪 It's exaggerated, but quite comfortable 😌 You can try it! However, there are many packages, and it's easy to choose a non-Clarins regular essential oil, so you can ask more questions to confirm.
🚲 Since there are two islands, transportation is either by calling the front desk to call a buggy car or by riding a bicycle 🚴 Riding a bike is quite fun, but you need to pay attention to safety. Dhigurah has many intersections, so it's easy to get lost.
🌧️ Rainy days are actually not bad. You can listen to the sound of rain and waves in the hotel while eating instant noodles 🍜 You must bring Master Kong's braised beef noodles, which will make you feel very happy‼️ There is a kettle, but it's recommended to bring your own. Water in the room is free, and you can ask for more if it's not enough. It's unlimited.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask 🙋♀️
