The atrium is designed with a hollow and high space so that tourists will not feel oppressed when shopping. What attracted me to this place was a white sports car - McLaren 720S. I think this is one of the dream sports cars in all men's minds. The McLaren 720S sports car was parked at the entrance of the gate to promote the movie. Although the prices of goods here are relatively cheaper than those in other shopping malls, there are not many stores selling goods I like, so I had to hastily end my shopping trip here.

Most tourists going to Sentosa can go there via the MRT station on the third floor of the mall. This year, as Singapore celebrates its 54th anniversary, shopping malls have launched discounts related to the number 54, including 54% discounts and S$5.4 delicacies. After dinner, we took a short break and visited the square on the rooftop, then went to the supermarket downstairs to buy the necessary food and returned to the hotel to end today's Sentosa Island trip.

We bought a second ticket for just over NT$300. This is an amusement park that both young and old will enjoy, and the slope slide is very easy to operate so it is loved by people of all ages. The speed of the slope pulley can be controlled by the handlebars, and of course the brakes also depend on it. This is a very safe amusement equipment. It is basically safe as long as it is not operated intentionally. It takes about one minute to slide down the 600-meter-long slope to the bottom, and then take the aerial chair back to the entrance of the mountain. Although riding the sky chair is a bit scary and exciting, when the chair rises to a high altitude, the entire Singapore city and sea view are in full view and the scenery is very beautiful. If you are looking to stay at a towering skyscraper with malls attached to it and tons of facilities as far as the eye can see, then this review is not for you. If however, you are interested to know what is a hotel doing in the middle of the Mandai reserve, an area many Singaporean sons are familiar with during their National Service rite of passage, then read on to discover more of my experience at Banyan Tree Mandai Rainforest Resort. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Banyan Tree’s ethos and commitment to sustainability is not just a philosophy but a living, breathing part of every detail—from the eco-conscious design of the lodgings to the thoughtful practices that honour the surrounding rainforest. One such thoughtful practice is the dimming of lights in the lobby and surrounding areas when dusk falls so as to minimise light pollution. We are in the middle of a nature reserve after all and the wildlife surrounding us needs to sleep too! At the end of the day, note that we are no longer at Orchard Road with its bright lights and endless traffic. Another thoughtful (though some say debatable) practice is the control of room temperature such that it can at best attain a minimum of 24oC. During my stay, I would say that it was comfortable enough for me to sleep through the entire night. However, I do understand that some guests may have a lower tolerance of heat, especially when faced with Singapore’s tropical climate in the warmer months of June to September. Perhaps the management can consider adjusting the minimum room temperature lower during those ‘summer months’ to allow guests to cope with the warmer temperatures? Personally, I enjoyed having the overhead fan in the room, not so much as to cool the room (although it most certainly could), as I like a constant circulation of air in the room as much as possible. Most hotels that I’ve been to do not have an overhead fan in the room and so, I felt that it was a nice touch to have one at the resort. Another feature that I appreciated was the provision of a water purifier in every room. Singapore’s tap water, while known to be safe and clean to drink directly, may cause uneasiness to some if they had to. The machine not only helps to further purify the water but it also eliminates the need for plastic and glass-bottled water. To me, that’s more power to the environment! As stewards of the environment, if we do not take care of the place we call home, who’s going to do it for us? The dedication to preserving the environment while offering luxury is truly inspiring. There is no need to live like Tarzan & Jane in order to co-exist with nature. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene rooftop infinity pool, where I found myself enveloped between the lush canopy and the open sky. It was a magical space to unwind, offering a sense of tranquility that seamlessly blended indulgence with the raw beauty of the rainforest.

No surprise that they score well too! ❤️ The Qatar Airways Premium Lounge in Changi Airport is one of the best in SIN and even though I only experienced breakfast service here, it was nonetheless still excellent especially with its ala carte dining options 🍳 The space itself was super peaceful and a refreshing change from other airlines’ - a rather pretty ambience and cosy seats made for a lovely spot to wait for your flight even if you just want to chillax 🍀 Service was attentive and efficient - much like a restaurant proper and made premium passengers really feel taken care. Day 2: City Icons, Vivo Vibes & Night Views Mid-morning, I checked out the colorful Old Hill Street Police Station, then headed to VivoCity for lunch and some laid-back shopping with waterfront views. It’s a great mix of local crowd and city energy. In the late afternoon, I made my way to the ArtScience Museum — both the architecture and exhibitions were visually stunning and immersive. From there, I walked over to Marina Bay Sands to explore the Apple Store on the bay, catch the golden hour views from the SkyPark, and watch the Spectra light and water show as the city lit up. There were still three hours before we could ride the Singapore Flyer, so I took my wife and children for a walk towards the Ferris wheel. It is not far from Suntec City to the Ferris Wheel, and you can get there by walking slowly for half an hour. In addition to the Merlion, which is a well-known landmark in Singapore, the Singapore Observation Wheel can also be said to be another landmark of Singapore. The Singapore Flyer has a total height of 165 meters and a wheel diameter of 150 meters, which is about 42 stories high. It is taller than the Nanchang Star (160 meters) and the London Eye (130 meters). The Ferris wheel has a total of 28 cabins, each of which is air-conditioned and can accommodate 28 passengers. The Ferris wheel takes about 30 minutes to rotate once. When the weather is clear, you can see Batam Island and Bintan Island 45 kilometers away as well as Johor State in Malaysia. Last month, a friend also came here to ride the Ferris wheel, but the time was almost up and the person who processed the tickets had not shown up yet, which made him anxious like an ant on a hot pan. When he knew that we also wanted to ride the Ferris wheel, he told us to find the person who processed the tickets. In fact, we were not worried about it. This trip to the Singapore Flyer ended very smoothly and perfectly.

The building complex includes the former Catholic Convent of the Holy Infant Girls [CHIJ] and the dormitory Caldwell House [Caldwell House]. The Gothic church was built in 1904 and named CHIJMES Hall. Caldwell House [Caldwell House] was built between 1840 and 1841. In fact, the Praise Square is not very big. It is a U-shaped dining area located on both sides and behind the church. There is a small green carpet space directly behind the church, where you can see some people lying on lazy sofas or sitting on mats, eating food and enjoying a leisurely afternoon. The most eye-catching place in Champlain Square is of course the Gothic-style Champlain Church. On the day of the visit, the door of the church was locked and we could not enter. We could only peek inside through the glass windows, and there was nothing inside the church. The Praise Church is now a multi-purpose church used for weddings, music performances, drama performances, catering and shopping.
