Armed with our pre-booked tickets and an early morning plan, we managed to dodge the hordes of tourists. Upon entering, it felt like we’d stepped right into ancient Rome, minus the toga-wearing citizens. To our delight, there was far more to explore than we’d anticipated. Who knew baths could be so captivating? The audio guides were our trusty companions, regaling us with stories and facts far beyond what any toga-clad guide could muster. The staff were as friendly as they were informative, adding a lovely touch of modern hospitality to our historical escapade. Every corner of the site had something interesting to offer, and we soaked up (pun intended) every bit of it. In short, our visit was a splash of historical fun, and we left feeling like honorary Romans. If you find yourself passing through Bath, we highly recommend this unique experience. On a day trip to Bath, I originally wanted to visit the Fashion Museum in the Assembly Rooms. The word "fashion" may be misleading. In fact, the museum exhibits ancient and modern British fashion clothing and accessories. The earliest exhibit is an object from the 1600s. The exhibition hall was originally a social venue for gentlemen and ladies, with a ball room, tea room and card room. In the center is an octagonal atrium hall. It was built in 1771 and was destroyed during World War II. The existing building was restored later. Unfortunately, the Fashion Museum is relocating and the exhibition is suspended. I still wanted to visit the old site and happened to come across a free exhibition called Assemble in the Forest. The theme is about the relationship between man and nature. Walking into the exhibition, it is as if moving nature into an exquisite banquet hall. There is the fun of time and space transformation, different exhibition halls, sensory experience, and graphic descriptions. It is worth a look! On view until 14-July-2023. The world is difficult to understand! I wonder what the Assembly room will be used for in the future? I wonder what the Fashion Museum will look like after the relocation? It's one of my favorite towns. The warm sunshine, gentle air, and lush greenery everywhere. Bath is a city in England that is listed as a world cultural heritage site. It is a classical and elegant small town surrounded by pastoral scenery, with Georgian-style houses and charming countryside views. The Romans first discovered hot springs here and built huge bathhouses. Today, the ancient bathhouse ruins are a relic of ancient Roman times in England. The magnificent Royal Crescent, Royal Crescent Circus, Bath Abbey, and Pulteney Bridge are all landmarks of Bath!

We were first time here in Bath and we have no idea where to eat. This is a happy accident that we choose this restaurant😍. This is one of the best Italian restaurant I have eaten for quite awhile. The oyster was very fresh. The grilled octopus was also lid. As for the main course, we had mussels risotto and grilled sword fish. Both are super delicious and really fresh. If you have large luggage, you may have to walk up two or three flights of stairs. ❣️Parking spaces are very few and narrow, and cost ten pounds per night, so be careful if you drive there. 🌈Features-Great service and friendly staff. Staff Casey was so welcoming and helpful and the whole team made us feel very welcome and looked after during our stay. Sally Lunn’s Eating House & Museum is a historic tea house, bakery & museum located in the city of Bath, UK. The shop is renowned for its signature baked buns- Sally Lunn Bun. Sally Lunn Bun is a light & airy brioche-like bread that has been enjoyed since the 17th century. It’s usually served toasted with butter, jam or savoury toppings. Price per Person - £15 Rating - 5/5 So we came to Sally’s home by advice of the lady in the old Mill hotel where we had a night (this one in another post). It is really a place that has to be seen. style , taste and the feeling of over 300 years ago everything is present there. Special star reward goes to buns as they are super delicious no matter sweet or savory. I loved the tea presentation with the pot and accessories. Beside the style food was totally delicious.
