I personally think this is one of the places in Jingzhou that should not be missed! During my trip to Jingzhou, Hubei, I stayed at the Shiyehuayuan Hotel in the Yangmatou Cultural Park in Shashi for two nights. The hotel is within walking distance to the Dasaixiang Food Street. I really like the style of this hotel, simple in black and white, with a large public space, good quality room details, and a super large bathroom. The side facing the Yangtze River are all river view rooms, the price is not expensive, a river view double room is only about 300 per night, good value for money. The Yangmatou Cultural Park in Shashi is located by the Yangtze River, where the old and the modern are integrated. There are many old buildings with red brick western-style houses, along the Yangtze River there are some restaurants and stylish small shops, retro and artistic. I like to take a walk along the river in the evening, feeling the slow life of this city with the wind blowing from the river surface and watching the ferries come and go. During my four-day and three-night trip in Jingzhou, I stayed in Jingzhou city for two nights. For the sake of Wenshui fish and Songzi chicken, I stayed in the Wenshui scenic area in Songzi for one night, and it felt pretty good. Jingzhou is really an underestimated treasure city, with the feeling of 'being kept in a boudoir and unknown to the public', it has a profound history, a variety of delicious food, and a good travel destination.

We did a day trip with work for some team building. This park offers a wide variety of activities for all ages. Getting There - This park can be reached by bus. Attractions - There are a lot of different activities inside the park. A 3D show, rollercoaster rides of various kids, different rides for kids and adults, water parks and much more. There’s enough spots to take some beautiful pictures at for those who aren’t keen on going on rides. This park is big and it’s great for spending a day outside with friends. Food & Restaurants - There are several eating places inside the park. The prices are a little high and perhaps the quality of food isn’t that great. Best would be to take snacks with and your own food. Shopping - There are small shops where you can buy some toys. The city is full of history and rich in culture. It is a relaxing place to explore and very beautiful. Hotel was booked via Trip.com. Beautiful hotel between Tesla and Mercedes car show room. It’s a short 20minutes ride to Jingzhou Ancient City. We spent the day exploring Binyang Tower and the surroundings. The ticket we bought included a boat ride around the lake which was nice. It also had a shuttle mini bus to take us to Guandi Temple. We were told by locals that the big Guan Yu statue has been removed from the ancient city. However, we saw another statue in Guandi Temple. From here, we took a didi to the Museum before it closes entry at 4pm. Overall we enjoyed this ancient city for a short 2 days trip before heading to Wuhan.

I stepped into this dreamy pink sea of flowers, carrying my camera, in the soft glow of the morning sun. Today, I want to share with you not only a visual feast, but also my insights and feelings while capturing this beautiful spring scene. 🌸 I chose this particular cherry blossom tree as our shooting location because it not only boasts the purest spring colors, but also features petals dancing gently in the wind. As they delicately landed on her shoulders and hair, they added a touch of unspoken romance to the picture. I adjusted the aperture, blurring the background into a soft pink mist, leaving only her and the cherry blossoms in sharp focus, as if the whole world had stood still. 🕰️ During the shoot, time seemed to slow down. We patiently waited for the perfect light, each click of the shutter a tribute to this beautiful moment. I guided her movements, letting her Hanfu flow with the wind, dancing with the cherry blossoms. At that moment, I felt as if I had become a part of this painting, experiencing the unique rhythm and harmony of spring. 📸 Looking back on this shoot, I deeply realized that photography is not just about recording, but also about conveying emotions. In the season of early cherry blossoms, we co-created a series of moving pictures about spring, beauty, and culture. May these photos, like cherry blossoms, bloom gently in everyone's hearts, leaving an unforgettable memory of spring.

Museum Layout and Visiting Route - Recommended route: Treasures Hall (Five Doctors of Sui) → Treasures Hall (Lacquer Art) → Exhibition Hall, 1st floor (Bronze Exhibition, Colorful Stars) → Exhibition Hall, 2nd floor (Ceramics Exhibition, Bamboo and Wood Exhibition, Chu Jade Exhibition) → Temporary Exhibition Hall → Kaiyuan Temple. - Introduction to the halls: The Treasures Hall mainly displays the Western Han Dynasty mummy, the Marquis of Sui, and exquisite lacquerware. The Bronze Exhibition on the first floor of the Exhibition Hall displays ancient Chinese bronzes unearthed in Jingzhou, and the Colorful Stars exhibition presents the primitive culture of the Jianghan Plain. The second floor houses the Ceramics Exhibition, the Bamboo and Wood Exhibition, and the Chu Jade Exhibition. The Temporary Exhibition Hall hosts various special exhibitions. Kaiyuan Temple is a well-preserved Taoist temple in Jingzhou. Must-See Collections - Western Han Dynasty Mummy: The Marquis of Sui, unearthed in 1975, is even better preserved than Lady Xin Zhui of Mawangdui and predates her by more than 100 years. - Sword of Goujian, King of Yue: The sword of Goujian, King of Yue's great-grandson. After more than 2,000 years, the gold-inlaid inscriptions on the sword guard are still clearly visible. - Jade Funeral Mask: Among the jade funeral masks unearthed nationwide, the one in the Jingzhou Museum is complete and exquisitely crafted. - Lacquered and Painted Wooden Hanging Drum with Tiger Base and Phoenix Bird: This drum, with its unique shape and bright colors, is highly characteristic of Chu culture and is one of the representative artifacts of Jingzhou Museum. - Fuchai Spear of Wu: As famous as the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, this bronze weapon from the Wu state during the Spring and Autumn period is well-preserved and exquisitely crafted. Souvenirs and Stamps - Souvenir shops: There are three souvenir shops, located at the exit of the Treasures Hall, the cafe at the entrance of the Treasures Hall, and the exit of the Special Exhibition Hall. They sell a variety of cultural and creative products related to the museum's artifacts. - Stamp points: Mainly at the cafe at the entrance of the Treasures Hall (the museum stamp is also here). There are also stamp points at the information desk of the Exhibition Hall, Shichu Cultural and Creative Store, Miyu Tea Room, Ding Ding Gao, the Treasures Hall souvenir shop, and the Temporary Exhibition Hall. Transportation and Dining - Transportation: The museum is located inside the west gate of Jingzhou Ancient City. There are a few parking spaces on the grounds of the museum. You can also park in the parking lot opposite the Maternal and Child Health Hospital. Shared electric vehicles are also a convenient and quick option. - Dining: The museum offers snacks such as lotus root starch soup. There are few restaurants nearby. You can go to Jingzhou Ancient City or other areas of the city to taste Jingzhou specialties, such as Jingzhou fish cakes and Gong'an beef.
