I love this Hotel. It is in downtown Shanghai and you can literally find anything you want in this building. The Portman Ritz Carlton is the main hotel, but off to the wings of the Shanghai Center are service apartments! And right outside those are a plethora of restaurants. and right in the middle underneath a giant man made waterfall is the Ritz Carlton. This hotel has a gym, pool, Sauna, Business rooms, and comes with an amazing room. Normally after doing a little staycation I would feel ready to go home, but I genuinely wanted to live in this place. All in all I would definitely recommend this place for the food, the amenities and the fantastic view of Shanghai. Portman’s Boteman in West Nanjing Road is a fancy restaurant located in East building of the Shanghai Centre, next to the waterfall wall garden. This restaurant mostly focuses on seafood 🦞, bringing together dishes from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore in an explosion of flavors. As amazing as it sounds, it’s quite expensive too. Be prepared to expend a few hundreds in a small meal. The meat 🥩 dishes look amazingly good. Drinks and cocktails have a nice presentation. There are few good dessert options, too.
