THE PENINSULA BANGKOK …inviting you to sleep in a luxurious 5-star hotel
For hotel lovers, I believe everyone must be familiar with THE PENINSULA, a 5-star riverside hotel that has maintained its quality for over 25 years. In this post, I had the opportunity to relax at the hotel, so I had to come and recommend it to you.
There are 370 rooms here, divided into several types. This time, I stayed in a ‘Grand Deluxe Room’, which is 47 square meters in size. The room is spacious, has a sofa and a sitting area, a work desk with a view of the Chao Phraya River from a large glass panel, a bathtub and separate shower, and complete amenities. The bedside drawer has all the cables so it’s very convenient to charge your devices. It’s so great! The bed in the room is so soft and comfortable that it sucks your soul.
The hotel is spacious, divided into several different areas, and there are rotating art exhibitions. When I went, there was an event called ‘Flowers, River & Possibilities’ by Sakul Intakul, who arranged flowers into artworks for viewing throughout the hotel.
The hotel’s facilities are complete, starting with a fitness center and a long swimming pool with a view of the river, along with morning exercise activities by the pool. There’s also The Peninsula Spa for you to relax in. I tried it and liked it very much. There are also wet facilities such as a Jacuzzi and a sauna for us to use.
The hotel has many restaurants to choose from, starting from ‘The Lobby’ which has the hotel’s famous ‘Traditional Afternoon Tea’. Let me tell you, the scones are very good. Don’t miss it. ‘River Café & Terrace’ is a riverside restaurant where we will have breakfast. In the evening, there is an international buffet. Currently, there is a Culinary Journeys with a 7-day, 7-national theme for us to try. ‘Mei Jing’ is a classic Chinese restaurant that many people love. ‘Thiptara’ is an ancient riverside Thai restaurant that I took you to see at the 25th anniversary event. In the evening, there is also ‘The Bar’, a bar decorated in classic wood tones for you to chill out.
For those who want to change the atmosphere, find a comfortable place to sleep, elegant and classic, and recharge yourself, I must say that you must not miss it. Currently, the hotel has an activity to tour ancient desserts. When I have a chance, I will come back to tell you about it again.
