Names of the people were inscribed on marble panels/walls and you can't help but feel saddened by what had happened during the 9/11 event. The 9/11 memorial is a beautiful monument with informative displays and one with history. You could also spot the massive XO metallic sculpture right outside the world trade centre, which symbolizes for love in the world. I would strongly recommend one to visit the 9/11 memorial, if you're ever in New York City.

Although I knew that visiting this museum would not be a very pleasant experience, I was actually playing on the computer on the day of the incident. When my father turned on the TV and told me that the Twin World Trade Center towers in the United States had been bombed, I thought it was a scene from a movie. I felt extremely shocked just by watching it on TV, not to mention the feelings of the people present at the scene. This time, you can also exchange tickets by scanning directly at the window dedicated to the Discovery Pass. If you don’t know your seat, you can show the QR code to the staff and they will guide you where to exchange the ticket. It is very considerate. Normally, one adult ticket costs US$29, which is not cheap. But think about it from another perspective. The official has carefully preserved the consistency and presented it in different ways and tried to restore the truth at that time. Being able to contribute a little bit of effort can be regarded as leaving some historical value for the city of New York. There is a large fountain in the memorial park outside the museum. It is free to visit, but please remember not to play around when taking photos. After all, this place is home to many victims. The entire exhibition was the timeline of how four airplanes got hijacked and how the government and the public responded in the most horrific moment in US history. The museum would take you an entire day to go through if you want to read everything, which is highly recommended. Outside of the museum, there are two fountains that were built on the collapsed buildings during the attack. There are tons of shops and hotels nearby, and it's easy to get to by buses and subways. There are limited parking spots if you choose to go there by car.

I was very impressed with how well some of the equipment (damaged on 9/11) was maintained and preserved. Definitely plan a few hours to truly spend in the museum to make your time worth. I remember feeling very scared and frightened even when watching it on TV at the time. Seeing is believing, so I went to see it with my own eyes and experienced it. The first thing you see when you enter the museum is a map showing the routes of planes on the day of the attacks. There are also photos of the Twin Towers before they collapsed, and photos of smoke rising immediately after the attack. There are many exhibits from that time, such as the walls and last pillars that remained after the incident, the stairs used by survivors to evacuate, and steel that was deformed by the impact. In the no-photography area, there are photos and belongings of those who died in the incident, and it brings tears to my eyes to think of how scared they must have been before they died. You can rent an audio guide at this museum for a fee. The English version seems to be narrated by Robert De Niro. (I rented the Japanese version) Even now, many incidents and accidents are occurring around the world, but by actually seeing and touching the things at the scene, I think you can deepen your understanding and have it engraved in your heart. On sunny days, the memorial outside is beautiful and you can look at it for a long time. And on rainy days, you can spend time at this museum, facing the incident carefully. started up north Michigan and ended at the 9/11 memorial in NYC, this trip was phenomenal for myself and my family. And a great learning experience for our daughter.
