Simple and environmentally friendly: Understand and learn how to protect the ocean from recycling marine plastic waste 🌊 Nan Fung Yarn Mill Nan Fung Workshop reshapes its Fabrica X retail experience store 🥤
I believe I don't need to say much, friends who read the news or even on Facebook will know how polluted the earth's oceans are!
In fact, the level of anger is as unbelievable as seeing the accidental injury at a major event! In fact, it can be avoided, why no one to enact regulations or to rebuke these man-made errors and pollution situations!
I was invited to attend The Mills Fabrica to experience a new reshaping workshop and retail store Fabrica X, combining retail, education and experiential learning. According to research by Our World in Data, 81% of global marine plastic waste comes from Asia, and a portion of that is discharged around the world. To help and enable Hong Kong citizens to better understand how to solve this global problem, this quarter, Fabrica
to address the fashion industry’s dependence on harmful native plastics through recycling plastics and upcycling. A wide range of products range from sportswear, swimwear to everyday accessories, providing customers with eco-friendly shopping options. Enjoy your life while contributing to the circular economy, transforming the ocean and waste that should be sent to landfills into sustainable fashion items in your wardrobe.

🛠Workshop Fabrica X will also be hosting a Marine Plastic Recycling Workshop in collaboration with partner Ocean Material from July 14 to October Participants can try using different small-scale plastic crushers and thermo-soluble plastic recycling machines to process plastic waste into fragments through innovative techniques and refine metal molds to turn waste plastic into valuable new products such as flower pots and combs
son, keychain, etc. Daniel de Haer, representative head of Ocean Material, explained: We designed these small machines to be very convenient at the exhibition or school. Through interesting interactive experiences, we can learn and entertain together and feel the meaning behind environmental recycling and upgrading.
Ocean Material is also a global support for all companies and enterprises to better understand how not to reuse plastics that cannot be broken down, so that the world is moving more towards a world of "plastics", they also have certificates to provide reusable plastics such as PET, PP, PE, Nylon and Polyester or PET.
The workshop's useful plastic waste was collected from: (1) HSBC's solar boats from the HSBC Exploration "Plastic" Clean Waters program in Hong Kong waters, (2) the shopping mall recycling station of Nan Fung Yarn Mill; and broken into pieces through the innovative recycling technology of New Life Plastics Ltd.
