Shanghai Middle House really feels like home, I was really moved by the details ❤️ I've always liked the House Collective series, and this time I went to Shanghai for a short trip and was torn between PuLi and Middle House. I finally chose Middle House and I think I made the right choice because it was such a good deal!! First of all, I have to mention the welcome gift. After checking in, I went to my room and saw the balloons, anniversary cake, and scented candles that the hotel had prepared in advance. I was really moved. Girls are like this, they are moved by the details. The minibar is unlimited and all the drinks are in glass bottles, including mineral water, soda water, and four bottles of Asahi beer. I was also given a USD 100 credit that I could use for a spa treatment. I think the Indiba treatment is very interesting because there is a St. Bella on the upper floor of Middle House, and this machine can be used for postpartum recovery, tightening the stomach, and treating cold uterus. If you don't want to have a spa treatment, you can go to the bar or Frasca restaurant. The gym is very large, with stair climbers, rowing machines, and many other machines. The pool is also very clean, and there is a sauna next to it. However, because it is on the first basement floor, there is no view, and I think it is a bit dark. The toiletries are all Bamford, which my husband likes and says it feels green. Breakfast is available indoors and on the terrace. Breakfast is a la carte, but unlimited. The hotel uses many bamboo elements, bringing a touch of greenery to the urban jungle 🌿 Hotel rooms Apart from some twin beds in the most basic 50 sqm room type, all rooms are double rooms. This time I stayed in a 60 sqm studio, with dark wood and leather decorations as the main tone, simple and elegant. I really like the blooming phalaenopsis on the coffee table, which is full of life 🦋 The bathroom is very large 🛁, and I love the super long washbasin. The hotel's beddings and amenities by Bamford are exactly to my taste, and combined with the Shanghai-style design by an Italian designer, it's basically irresistible for young people. As for the hotel's view, isn't the Shikumen architecture a characteristic of Shanghai? The hotel's breakfast has always had an excellent reputation, and indeed, it has some strength in this area. Initially, I wanted to bring my pet, but considering the terrace suite would be too hot, I didn't book it. The room I stayed in this time was a 70-square-meter 01 type. The room is not very large, but because it is a corner room with windows on two sides, the lighting is very good, and the view is also nice. The overall color tone chosen by the Italian designer is relatively dark, so the photos taken may not look very good, but the actual visual experience is acceptable. Of course, the apartments in the Middle House use a brighter color scheme, which makes them look more like Bulgari. Service: The front desk guest relations manager is very nice, enthusiastic, and attentive. They are generous with the gifts and try to meet all requests without making guests feel uncomfortable, reaching almost C7 level (J Hotel should learn from this). Dining: The breakfast at Cafe Grey Deluxe is of high quality, although not as good as the Temple House, but definitely among the top 5 breakfasts in Shanghai.
