If you wanna experience some japanese culture vibe, you may try visiting this place in Xitou,Taichung,Taiwan. It took about 2 hours from HSR (High Speed Rail) Taichung to Xitou by bus. The place is very calm and quiet suitable who seek for nature. They sell a lot of souvenirs here, it was all pretty and not so expensive price. They have a lot of foods here, suprisingly you might try to buy their nuts, yes NUTS, its so sweet unlike the one i taste in my home country ! and the viral bakery which they sold out the cheese buns when i went there huhu.Oh, also their egg tarts! it was sooo good, the stall only beside the bakery, you need to try them! #newyearnewtrip #taiwantrip

From the top of Ci'en Pagoda, you can take in the full view of the lake and mountains. The pagoda itself is not very tall, and the steps are gently designed, making the climb not too tiring. The entire journey takes about 20 minutes to reach the base of the pagoda, and another 5 minutes to reach the top. Each floor of the pagoda has an outer corridor, offering different views at each level. Watching the beauty of Sun Moon Lake from different heights is truly refreshing. #2024TravelReviewChecheng The scenery of Checheng is different every season, like a flowing painting scroll. This time it was a day with a strong autumn atmosphere. The bald cypress trees beside the timber storage pond had turned yellow, and they shone brightly in the sunlight. Every time I arrive in Checheng, I take a walk by the pool first. Checheng was once famous for its logging industry. The lakeside trail and the bicycle path along the Shuili River are all original wooden plank roads. There is a visitor center for consultation. Due to its small area, the famous attractions include: Checheng Railway Station, Old Street, Wood Industry Exhibition Hall, Wood Storage Pool, Mingtan Reservoir... It only takes 3 hours to go around the circle. We went to the town store for a picnic to do some shopping, sat at wooden tables and chairs looking at the mountains and the blue sky, and tasted the delicious food we bought... Life can be so simple and easy; it happened to be a weekend holiday, and there were street performers performing in the car square, and an open-air music feast unfolded before our eyes. If you have enough time, you can also ride along the bicycle path of Shuili Creek to Shuili.
