The Little Mermaid statue is located in the Long Beach Park in the northeast of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was cast by a Danish sculptor based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Daughter of the Sea". The bronze statue was completed in Long Beach Park in 1913 and has a history of more than 100 years. It is a world-famous bronze statue and a symbol of Copenhagen, so it attracts countless tourists. The statue of The Little Mermaid is only 1.5 meters high, which is equivalent to the height of a teenage child. From a distance, the mermaid with a fish tail is sitting on a huge rock, quiet and elegant, leisurely and contented. If you look closely, the mermaid is a sad girl. Visitors come here to observe the mermaid's facial features. This beautiful statue has been cut off by thieves many times, so the head of the little mermaid I see now is transplanted later, not the original. The local government was worried that the statue would be damaged by too many tourists, so in March 2006, the Little Mermaid statue was relocated to the deep sea. Now, in Changdi Park, you can only stand outside the seaside fence and watch the little mermaid in the sea. Mermaid statue, and took a group photo with it across the fence. It should be noted that there are many tourists outside the fence, so you need to pay attention to safety when taking pictures.
