Fantastic place to visit in Bangkok, cannot miss it if you like thai culture. Maybe in the internet it doesn't show how beautiful it is but its really worth the visit. You can have a free audio guide to listen to the history and curiosities through the tour. If you have work permit you get a good discount on the entrance, just need to show the visa.

THREE-HEADED ELEPHANT PINK MUSEUM IN BANGKOK
Step into a world of wonder at the Erawan Museum, home to a colossal three-headed elephant sculpture. Each floor represents a cosmic realm: the Underworld, Earth, and Heaven. As you ascend the stairways, the mesmerizing stained-glass roof casts a celestial glow and the highest floor, painted with a star map, hosts serene Buddha statues. Don’t miss the tranquil garden and the sacred shrines on your way out.
🚝 easiest way to reach is by train (about 35mins ride from the city center, with 10mins walk from Chang Erawan BTS).
🎟 400 baht for foreigners
⏰ 9am - 7pm. Timing Tip: Visit in the morning or closer to closing time for a quieter experience. Unlike Wat Arun or the Grand Palace, Erawan offers serene solitude. We arrived around 10 am and practically had the place to ourselves

✨Let me share some fascinating details about it:
The museum is topped by a monumental three-headed bronze elephant, a Hindu mythological creature. This impressive statue weighs 250 tons, stands 29 meters tall, and stretches 39 meters in length. It's cast entirely in pure copper.
The three storeys inside the elephant house antiquities and priceless collections of ancient religious objects. These artifacts belonged to Lek Viriyapant, the museum owner and creator of other iconic museums like Ancient Siam and the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya.
Visiting Tips:
🕰️To explore everything, allocate about 1 - 1.5 hours
‼️It's best to avoid arriving at the opening time due to crowds - large tourist groups often visit on big buses.

There is a magical pink museum in Bangkok:

Despite the hype online, the actual number of visitors is not as high as expected. It is recommended to spend 1.5 hours for the visit, and you can dine at the entrance after finishing. Nearby is the Ancient Siam, which you can also visit if interested.

🌟 The three-headed elephant museum was built by a Thai tycoon. When visiting, do not wear short skirts/shorts, do not expose shoulders or backs, and shoes must be removed upon entering. There is an elevator to go up and a second floor for worship (photography is not allowed in some areas).

If I could only go to one place in Bangkok, I would definitely choose this place
🇹🇭I've been playing in Bangkok for a week, and this is my favorite place~
The Erawan Museum
It's the kind of place that will make you go 'wow' as soon as you walk in.
-
💛The ticket price on site is 400 baht, but it's a bit cheaper for foreigners, you can book it online for 50-60R.
-
The best time for taking photos is from 16 to 17 o'clock, the only downside is that there is no air conditioning inside, the day we went was cool, otherwise it would be a bit like a steamer.
-
❤️Outfit suggestions:
Any color that matches with pink is super suitable, such as light blue, white, silver, light gold.
A flowing long skirt will add more beauty~
-
🚌Transportation:
221,99/9, Tambon Bang Muang Mai, Amphoe Mueang Samut Prakan, Chang Wat Samut Prakan
Take the BTS Sukhumvit line to Chang Erawan station exit 2, it's about a 10-minute walk.
-
❤️Photo angles:
1⃣The classic front entrance, wide angle, can accommodate more space, the photo is super shocking
2⃣The stairs on the left and right sides are symmetrical, you can take a top-down shot from anywhere, one side is pink, the other side is white, both are beautiful
3⃣Take a shot from the stairs to the ceiling, this dome is just too beautiful for words
4⃣There are also many angles outside, as long as it's in the sunlight, any shot will be beautiful

The Three-Headed Elephant Museum in Bangkok is worth a visit (Part 2)
When it comes to this Three-Headed Elephant Museum (also known as the Pink Temple), as a Chinese, I should be proud again. Both here and the 72 Prefecture Scenic Area (Ancient City of Siam, will be introduced in detail later) are from the hands of Mr. Lin Guohua, a Thai-Chinese. Although it is called a museum, the exquisite architecture and the majestic momentum are far beyond ordinary museums. Sitting in the car, you can see a huge circular pink building and a three-headed elephant sitting on the building from a distance! The exhibition area on the first floor is not allowed to take pictures, all of which are part of the cultural relics collected by Mr. Lin in Thailand. By the way, if you have been to Pattaya and seen a black temple with pure wooden mortise and tenon structure, that also belongs to him. Following the stairs upwards, the second floor represents the world, and the third floor represents heaven. Everywhere you look, every brick, stone, wood, and mirror has its own changes, especially the entire circular roof, which is the map of the entire world. Under the universal sky, we are all one family!

Erawan Museum in Bangkok
After so many trips to Bangkok I decided to visit Erawan Museum. I took BTS train in Siam Station and arrived to Chang Erawan station. it tools me around 40 minutes. From Chang Erawan BTS station I took exit 1 and walk around 15 minutes to museum. You can buy tickets on the entrance for 400 THB, or book online here with cheaper prices. Next to the tickets booth you can buy some Thai snacks and drinks.
Museum itself is wonderful. Looks like a mix of Chinese, Thai and Indian cultures. Many interesting things to discover for yourself. Museum surrounded with many elephants.
This place is also very instagramable. You can take a lot of nice photos.

Stunning pink museum in Bangkok 💗💗
Famous for its giant three-headed elephant art display, Erawan Museum is divided into three main floors according to the Hindu representation of the universe, which consists of the Underworld, Earth, and Heaven.
Mesmerized by the stained-glass roof as you walk up the stairways the moment you entered the museum. The highest floor is what Thais believe to be heaven, is painted with a star map and exhibits various buddha statues. Don't forget to check out their small but neat garden and their shrines on your way out.
🚝 easiest way to reach is by train (about 35mins ride from the city center, with 10mins walk from Chang Erawan BTS).
🎟 400 baht for foreigners
⏰ 9am - 7pm. Best time to visit is in the morning or nearer to closing time for a lesser crowd although this place isn’t as crowded as Wat Arun or the Grand Palace. We reached around 10am and have the whole place to (almost) ourselves.

Bangkok's off-the-beaten-path attractions, easily accessible by BTS.
Girl's heart bursting pink palace.
🐘The Erawan Museum Bangkok, Museum of Three-Headed Elephant
💖
The Erawan Museum is different from traditional temples. The atmosphere here is full of love and hope, and it is a comprehensive museum that integrates the universe and the gods.
The pink building is really eye-catching, and the interior of the museum is also in pink tones. The dragon-shaped staircase leads to the top, symbolizing reaching the heavens. The statues and murals along the stairs are full of details.
The top glass window of the universe is very shocking, like the universe enveloping everything.
The top museum is the world beyond the universe, where the atmosphere is even more serious and quiet.
🚇The transportation to the museum is very convenient! Take the BTS Sukhumvit Line to Chang Erawan Station (E17), Exit 2, and walk about 1km for approximately 10 minutes.
📝
1. No drinks or food allowed to be brought in.
2. Shoes must be taken off before entering the museum (there is a place to put shoes at the entrance).
3. No entry in tank tops, halter dresses, or super short shorts.
4. It is recommended to go early for indoor photography, as there are many guests in the afternoon.

Elephants on top of a Museum?!
Marvel at this shrine and museum due to its unique features inside and outside! I was in awe. The level of details on each pillars.
You'll also get to learn more about Siam porcelains and potteries. You will also read about how Chinese and Europeans influenced Thai crafts.
You should pay a visit and make sure to go to the top. It's a surprise to me that's why I didn't include the pictures for that.

An AMAZING experience. Come to this place just to view the beautiful architecture or touch the Elephants. The natural beauty is incredibly mesmerizing as well! There are all sorts of Buddhist and Hindu gods here to pray to & the incredible part is how they incorporate the stories and lessons of all the well known religions around the world. The mini "secret" at the top (which is the blue-ish pic) was a wonderful place to get blessed at too. Many prosperity and abundance is said to have been received from here. Come with your heart open :)

The museum is well-known and recognized for the giant, three headed elephant statue coming out of the top of the temple. In fact, it’s the largest hand carved statue in the world

Are you into Artifacts? One of the best place to get to know more about Thailand ❤️
The Erawan Museum is known for its giant three-headed elephant art sculpture as exterior. This is the first and biggest hand-carved sculpture in the world--43 meters high. Interesting place to visit if you have time to spare. Good place to snap some photos and to observe Buddhist culture. Place is easy to visit via the Chang-Erawan BTS station from Bangkok city center. Short taxi ride is required upon exiting the station but on return, free shuttle from museum is available.
Erawan Museum, truly stands to be called one of Bangkok’s most unique attractions.
The Erawan Museum houses one of Thailand’s most exquisite private art collections while simultaneously serving as a visual representation of the three-tiered cosmology of Thailand’s Theravada Buddhism: the underworld, the human world and the heavens.
The Erawan Museum was commissioned to be built by Mr. Lek Viriyapant (Prapai Viriyapant), in order to preserve his personal collection of antiques and sacred objects in a manner that would contribute to Thai heritage.

I have a pink nightmare
here is a museum that girls will fall in love with, and the long-awaited Bangkok Three Elephants Museum!
A pink world full of girls. The pink dreamy hall, two winding stairs, one pink and one white. The stained glass on the top of the head is a map of the world and the zodiac. Looking up, I feel the universe is vast.
Loociwin.
In Thailand, there is a three-headed statue museum with a small but young girls heart! The overall matte-like palace-like architecture is like entering a super-dreamy pink castle, it is really difficult to connect it to the museum.
This museum full of Thai characteristics is located in Samut Prakan, Bangkok. It is a private museum. The appearance of the museum's three-headed elephant god began in 1994 and was hired by local craftsmen. Slowly repaired. There were many miracles occurred during the construction period, so until now, there are countless people going to visit the temple every day, and it can be counted as a sacred elephant.
The appearance of the museum is full of fried chicken. When you walk into the museum, it is gorgeous! Exquisite carvings, curved staircases, and ceilings made of Western stained glass and zodiac. Each design is amazing and beautiful!
Here, the photo is also good to see hin, the powder door and the spiral staircase, all the shots are dreamy blockbuster, fried chicken is beautiful! In particular, the super-swing spiral staircase of the powder, the filming rate is high, attracting countless little fairies to come and punch!
TIPS: I want to take a photo of Meimei, I suggest you try it as early as possible. And respect the temple dress regulations, can not wear short skirt shorts, fairy skirts will be more suitable. In addition, the location of the museum is relatively remote, it is recommended that driving in the past will be more convenient and free.

A Spiritual Journey at the Erawan Museum in Bangkok
Stepping into the Erawan Museum in Bangkok, a gigantic three-headed elephant statue stands majestically before you, exuding an aura of reverence and sanctity. The bronze statue towers into the sky, emanating an ancient and mysterious charm. Approaching the base of the statue, you are greeted with a rich tapestry of Thai culture and religious imagery, with every inch of space seemingly narrating a story of history.
Ascending the spiral staircase, the stained glass ceiling inside is dreamlike, with sunlight filtering through, illuminating the entire space with a mystical and splendid glow. The museum houses many precious Buddhist artifacts and artworks, each quietly conveying wisdom and peace. While offering prayers and meditating in the belly of the elephant, the complexities of the mind seem to dissipate with the rising incense smoke, replaced by a sense of pure tranquility.
As I left, I paused to look back, and the three-headed elephant appeared as a guardian deity, eternally preserving the power of tradition and faith under the sky of this city. This journey was not only a cultural exploration but also a purification and baptism of the soul.

Erawan Elephant Museum
#Cultural tourism Erawan Museum, Samut Prakan, an art and religious tourism destination that will take us to explore the stories of the four major religions of Asia.
If you look from the outside or from above, everyone should be familiar with the building in the shape of a three-headed elephant. But the area of the building is divided into 3 parts, which is inspired by the Traibhumikatha (dividing the world into 3 parts: the underworld, the human world, and heaven). The lowest floor is underground or the underworld, called the "Suvarnabhumi Floor". The second is the building that supports the elephant, the "human world". The third floor is the part of the elephant, which is above the human world according to the Traibhumi concept, which is heaven. This part is called the "Universe Floor".
The "Suvarnabhumi Floor" exhibits antiques and tiles that indicate traces of culture in the Southeast Asian region, especially the use of earthenware, Benjarong, and Benjarong with gold water pattern, which are symbols of the upper class in the Ayutthaya period. The decoration on this floor also includes sculptures of Naga humans that convey the abundance of water and nature.
The "human world" presents art that combines the East and the West. There is a dome decorated with a large world map on stained glass, representing the four elements: earth, water, wind and fire, which represents the composition of the world. Inside the hall, it is decorated with exquisite stucco patterns made by craftsmen from Phetchaburi, as well as hundreds of thousands of pieces of Benjarong porcelain cut into small pieces and decorated with beautiful alternating patterns. There are also four pillars decorated with exquisite embossed tin, representing the four religious virtues: loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity, which are the foundations supporting the human world.
The "Universe" is like a journey to heaven, decorated with murals telling stories of gods and angels floating in the sky. Inside the room, it is decorated with a large solar system. The ceiling shows the sun and planets, along with a walking Buddha statue and a replica of the Buddha's footprint, creating a peaceful atmosphere like a sacred temple.
The park around the museum is designed to be a literary botanical garden, representing the Himalayas, along with sculptures of mythical animals such as kinnari, mermaids and other Himalaya animals. Reflecting the beauty of art that is embedded with religious beliefs and Thai legends
