Underneath its pure white European exterior, it retains the original atrium courtyard, exuding an antique charm that at first glance might be mistaken for a museum. The hotel is conveniently located opposite the former residence of Cheong Fatt Tze, the richest man in Southeast Asia, known as the Blue Mansion. It is within easy walking distance to everywhere. Close to the Red Garden Food Paradise and Chulia Street Night Market, you'll never run out of food options. The hotel's interior has been refurbished, with high ceilings that make for a comfortable and clean living space. The decor is exquisitely elegant, especially the staircases, which are incredibly photogenic. The lounge offers complimentary snacks and a welcome glass of red wine. The most affordable deluxe room with a large bed for two, including breakfast, costs about 4000 New Taiwan Dollars; even the most expensive suite, which is 60 square meters and includes breakfast for two, is only a little over 6000 New Taiwan Dollars, making the prices quite reasonable.

i loved our 1 night stay at The Edison - every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is good. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and the property is stunning. Because of the age of the building you can hear the karaoke from the hawker market opposite however the overall experience makes up for it. It’s worth heading over for a beer in the evening to watch the performances. The drinks and snacks in the lounge/kitchen are a lovely touch and we will miss the staff. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in Georgetown. #malaysia

A beautifully restored Anglo-Colonial mansion with an absolute interior design of whimsical touches of heritage within. The fresh concept combines timeless elegance, extending a blend of modern and traditional elements with quality and charm which definitely blown my mind. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Served a light and good breakfast which definitely a good idea for those traveler which opted for local food hunting in Georgetown. Ample space for parking area. The lounge open for 24/7 which served free flow coffee, tea and juice. #mytripvlog

Location: Excellent location in Georgetown, opposite Red Garden Food Paradise and Blue Mansion of Cheong Fatt Tze, and just few streets away from Love Lane. Building: 1906 heritage mansion with modern and clean interior. Room: Room is not big in size but with good spatial arrangement. Service: Staffs are polite, friendly, helpful and always with smiling face. Facilities: 24/7 lounge, outdoor swimming pool and limited free car parking space is provided with security guard. Food: Lounge is available 24/7 for all in house guest with variety of drink and snack. Complimentary 1 glass of red/white wine during pre-dinner wine hour. Continental breakfast was simple.
