Historic buildings
The Rakow Textile Hall is a Renaissance-style building located on the Market Square (MarketSquare) in the center of the old city of Krakow. It is one of the more famous landmarks in Krakow. Similar textile halls also exist in other European cities, but Krakow's textile halls are more famous and well-preserved. The upper floor of the building is now the Sukiennice Museum, a branch of the Krakow Museum, which mainly displays 19th-century Polish paintings, most of which are oil paintings by Polish painters. There is also a terrace in the hall where you can drink coffee and watch the scenery. Of course, there is also a place for souvenirs in the museum, where you can buy cute Polish dolls.
