[2025 Singapore Shopping Mall] Travel Guide for The Cathay Gallery (Updated Mar)

In the lead-up to celebrate Singapore’s National Day, there were many art markets going on all over the country. This was one that I really liked as it had a lot of cool and uncommon vintage clothing and items on sale. There was even a booth set up for tarot card fortune-telling! Quite a number of merchants were mainly operating online stores so you followed their social media platforms, they could offer a nice discount. Truly one of the more unique and memorable markets I’ve been to! #mysgmemories

This pop-up market was situated at the levels of the movie theatres in this shopping mall, and had many vendors that were selling their own handmade products. I especially liked the bath soaps and bombs stall as the products smelled very good. You could also take free stickers from the table right at the entrance, which was a nice souvenir to remember the market by! My husband and I came to check out the art market held at The Grand Cathay. It had quite a heavy emphasis on reading and literature. There was even a pop-up booth that allowed you to bring your pre-loved books to exchange them with other books. Many of the titles were by local artists so that was pretty cool. Other stalls also sold products designed by the owners themselves, it was interesting to learn how they got into their respective craftsmanships.
