Chomphon Cave
Chomphon Cave (formerly known as Mujalin Cave) is a cave that hides its beauty with stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes that inspire imagination. The fact that the cave is about 30 meters wide and 25 meters long has a chimney in the middle of the cave is an advantage that allows the air inside the cave to circulate easily, not too stuffy or hot. Especially when walking into the cave, you will see the intricacy of the stalactites and stalagmites with various names such as Thara Sila, Soi Raya, Sae Yamri, Thong Phra Rong, Prasit Thewa, Kesa Salai, and Pha Wichit. When the sunlight shines through the chimney into the cave, it makes Chomphon Cave even more beautiful, like another world in a fairy tale. I would like my friends to visit at least once. #Natural attractions

Chomphon Cave, Ratchaburi Province
Chomphon Cave is located near Rajabhat University in Chom Bueng. There is a public park nearby, but it seems quite deserted and lonely. There are many monkeys, and some of them are quite mischievous, even climbing onto cars. Some can be aggressive.
Park your car at the public park, and you will see the path leading up to the cave. Be cautious of the monkeys along the way; they are very quick.😅
The path is steep enough to make you sweat. The cave is large with light filtering through openings. There is a beautiful Buddha statue in the center, along with a reclining Buddha and other places for worship. There are no monkeys inside the cave, so you can take photos freely.

As you walk into the cave, you encounter the exquisite beauty of the stalactites and stalagmites with various names such as Tharasil, Sorayraya, Sajamree, Thongphrarong, Prasittidewa, Kesaslaway, and Phawichit. Worship the Buddha at Tham Chomphon Cave, Ratchaburi Province 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Take you to worship at Tham Chomphon, Ratchaburi
Tham Chomphon is 30 meters wide, 240 meters long, and 25 meters high. At present, the cave is under the care of Chombueng Municipality. When visiting the cave, you have to climb the stairs to the mouth of the cave. At the mouth of the cave, there are the letters จ.ป.ร. which are the initials of King Rama V in short, and the number 114, which means the year he visited and wrote the letter. His Majesty named the cave “Tham Chomphon”. His Majesty ordered the craftsmen to carve the stone according to the letters, including Rama IX and Rama X. From the mouth of the cave, there is a steep wooden path down, and you will see bats flying back and forth. The air inside is not hot and stuffy. There is light all the way. Near the reclining Buddha, there are stalactites that look like beautiful pots.
When we reach the end of the cave, we will see light shining from the ceiling of the cave down to the Buddha statue, making it look very prominent and beautiful. The light will shine directly on the Buddha statue between 1:15 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and it will be very beautiful during the months of April and August of every year
