I went to a restaurant called "Tendon Makino Kyoto Teramachi Branch" in Kyoto! 📍481-3 Nakasujicho, Teramachi-dori Shimo, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture This restaurant serves delicious tendon produced by Marugame! I was surprised to see a huge line even before it opened! I wrote my name on the name board in front of the store and waited! I had the impression that there were a lot of tourists there! The tendon was voluminous, and the tempura, freshly fried in the kitchen on the first floor, was crispy and very delicious! I left some rice and finished off with dashi, wasabi, and yuzu! I've been to a few tendon restaurants in the metropolitan area that are said to be quite delicious, but this one was overwhelmingly delicious. The price is a bit steep at 2,000-3,000 yen if you order a set, but it's worth trying at least once. If you don't like fried food, you can skip it, of course. Don't just try one, but try a variety of tendon sets. Many people change it to miso soup, but I liked the basic soup because it was clear and clean. Adding fried eggs is a must!
